Oz Championships 2013-14

Please guys chill, in true Aussie style, let's take the more laid back stance..that said, incorrect crediting does mither me a little.

Racers and royals - I think what the issue may be is that from your links, it appears on face value that the updates came from that site only and not via us.

Hi Sue firstly want to say that your updates do a brilliant job-week in week out.when I posted from the Undera round my heading was " full result from Undera-courtesy of Sportowefakty" -from which I copy and pasted. This Sportowefakty page gave the round scorers plus cumulative scores-correct me if I am wrong but the latter info wasn`t from updates but their own input.I would also like to say again that on the Sportowefakty "live updates " they correctly gave you the credit for the source.

That information was also available on the actual thread...we had someone asking how the cumulative score was worked out as he ccouldn't understand how we had come up with the totals.

As I said though, it is only a slight annoyance that the work (and money) myself, Clint, Dave and Lunchy has been glossed over/ignored but there you go, life isn't fair and it won't prevent me (I cannot speak for the others) repeating the juggling act/financial outlay again next year.

Exactly what I said, Sue. If he can't see that then that's his problem. Should be a good night tonight: Ronny's reserve for the sidecars support races so we'll be in the pits, BFD and Lunchy will be somewhere near the bar 'doing the Updates' - Fire Up!

Next time I better also thank the Australian judiciary for their lenient sentencing. :approve:

Chris Holder regains title after Jason Doyle falls and is excluded in the final won by Rohan Tungate. Doyle finishes second overall and Grajczonek third after a run-off against Tungate.

Well done Rohan - to win a round shows a real step up in his level.

Ultimately the puncture in round 1 has cost him the bronze medal.

We have so many Poles over here now-it`s our 2nd language  and anyway the Aussies language isn`t English is it ??

Mr R&R,

I assume you would've quite often stamped your foot in the playground at school when things didn't go your way, like the spoilt brat you so vividly portray on this forum.

I will sign off now, to give you the opportunity to have the "last word" with another piece of bovine offal, which you are so apt at portraying.

Regards

The run-off was one of the best races I've ever seen. Does anyone have video?

.

Certainly will be Mick Hargraves was there as he has been for the last 20 odd years I will pm you his email.

As per usual the Gillman track put on an excellent meeting and your correct that runoff was worth the admission alone. Crowd looked good, I hear Undera had a record crowd so things are looking good for the solo scene in Australia.

Really enjoyed covering the champs this year and for once, no major disaster occured (I went through a run of falling down the stairs and beggering my shoulders in previous years).

Pleased with the final result especially after the injuries Chris sustained last year, to come back from injury like that speaks of a true champion...can anyone tell I have a soft spot for him (in a very maternal way!)
