Triple.H.
Looking forward to tomorrow Colin Murray comes across as an interviewer who does plenty of research and was bigging up the TW appearance late last week. Just hope one day he does a Murray meets with the hardest footballer ever Gary Briggs
T.N.T.
Looking forward to tomorrow Colin Murray comes across as an interviewer who does plenty of research and was bigging up the TW appearance late last week. Just hope one day he does a Murray meets with the hardest footballer ever Gary Briggs Hope he has done some after today as he claimed Tai was the first British rider to ever win the Wold Title !! Hope Tai gets to meet Hawksbee and Jacobs after who claim speedway is all about gating and there is only a pass if someone falls off ...... Go and invite them to Monmore Tai and show them what it is really like. Be interesting if they ask Tai what his plan is to raise money for Cancer Research UK is in 2014 as that would be BIG news !! manchesterpaul
Hope he has done some after today as he claimed Tai was the first British rider to ever win the Wold Title !! Yeah i heard that too at the start of the last podcast. Hope he or his assistants do their research a bit better as we certainly don't want to hear what the old Granada Reports TV channel did when Peter Collins won his world title and they referred to him as the speedway DRIVER! Just came on here to let people know if they don't already that the shows, or more accurately, the interviews are available as podcasts. I certainly won't be sat next to the radio for three hours between the scheduled broadcast time of 10am-1pm. I've only glanced at the timing of the most recent podcast and it's 37 minutes long, so i'm presuming it's the interview bits and nothing else? Steve Shovlar
Yes enjoyed listening to that. tai came across well. Hopefully Murray will come to Cardiff and get the buzz. Will be noting better than a presenter raving about a great day out at the GP in Cardiff on his show on a Monday moning.
SteveLyric2
Yes a great interview. Well done Tai and Colin Murray (and Nigel Pearson for presumably setting it up?!)
mikec
Really enjoyed the interview, Tai came across well. Credit to Colin Murray too, was obvious that he'd done his homework & he seemed really enthusiastic about both Tai's story & the sport as a whole. Great exposure for the sport, with more to follow if/when he takes up Tai's Cardiff 'backstage pass' invite.
EC Rides Again
Heard most of the interview and Tai did well and gave a positive advert for the sport. If he can get Murray and his colleagues to Cardiff then I'm sure that it will do speedway's PR a world of good. Pretty obvious that the guys in the studio didn't know much but at least Murray had done some homework. Tai has made a real effort to showcase both himself and speedway as a sport so kudos to him. That said it's amusing to listen to Tai but hear Nigel Pearson's phrases coming out, the media training is going well. AndyJ
Just listened to the interview via the "listen again" service on the talkSPORT site http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1383645600 and agree wholeheartedly with the above posts. It was uplifting to hear the apparent enthusiasm from Colin Murray towards experiencing live speedway and kudos to him for posting the YouTube clip on Twitter. With 46,000 followers it hopefully reached some people whose interest might have been tweaked. Damned shame this is taking place now rather than just prior to the season start.... YerRopes
Tai did a pretty good job on TS today, despite all the 'piss-taking' - he mentioned as many sponsors as possible and ultimately Michael Gray was enthusing about attending the 2014 GP in Cardiff.. Colin Murray and Micky Gray to attend via back-stage passes in 2014 Well done Tai - a job well done Edited November 5, 2013 by yerropes
