manchesterpaul
Travel plus tours have had it down for the 19th all along. Cool that's impressive if it gets switched. Several media reports point out that it is STILL scheduled for the 20th but they are trying to switch it.

brewer
So the Bspa/scb wont recognise the sec and will not submit riders like worrall/cook etc to compete and gain experience in a major championship, but the ACU will and gives one of its places to an aussie, absolutely ridiculous. I like the ftds and its a start. but we also need to be entering our own riders in this competition. Edited May 20, 2014 by brewer

brewer
I would have thought that as the ACU is the "federation" they get the allocation, it is known the bspa/scb do not want part of this series hence the, no facility to clubs who have riders competing in it. If what you say is correct, than that makes it far worse imo. Edited May 20, 2014 by brewer

I'm not saying I'm correct or anything but if Schlein has a British license, surely it has to go through British Speedway organisations rather then ACU? I don't know how your system works with British and Australian riders and changing what country the license is licensed by.
Humphrey Appleby
I'm not saying I'm correct or anything but if Schlein has a British license, surely it has to go through British Speedway organisations rather then ACU? The allocations will be to the national federation (FMN) - in this case the ACU. Presumably the ACU would normally delegate nominations to the BSPA, but I'd think they can nominate any British licence holder they wish. In individual competitions, eligibility is determined by the licence held, not citizenship.
DutchGrasstrack
The ACU does have slots in the SEC, they did originaly have one slot in the Zarnovica qualifier, but apperently they get another one in the Daugavpils qualifier.... Richard Hall seems to be riding in Slovakia for the ACU.
severnsider
Schlien rides for Daugavpils in the league. Could it be they were short of numbers, as he wasn't on the list of riders for the meeting a few days before the meeting, but being in town they took advantage of his British license to have a full field? f-s-p
That sounds valid. He can still ride for MA in SWC, unless Rosco names him in his squad to the FIM. The amount of confusion and open places just days before the actual meeting surprises me many times...

DutchGrasstrack
Easy to blame One Sport again.... It's actually the awesome FIM Europe... same with the Euro U21 Teams this weekend in Czecho... they are still waiting for antoher team to enter as Russia apperently pulled out. Plus One Sport has not much to do with the qualifers..
