P T Preece
I was thinking about the crowd, do you think quite a few might have gone to Lonigo instead of Poland, not everybody can afford both and might be quite a problem getting to Lonigo from Poland. mothorsen
Great meeting! Loved the move from Kildeman on the outside 1 second gap.
pandorum
Kildemand was fantastic yesterday but Emil was a worthy winner. PK was stone 2nd when he fell and Emil was never going to get beat. It's a shame there was such a poor crowd when the other 3 were superbly supported. Maybe lack of Polish interest? maybe basketball or a Rolling Stone concert I wonder if a SEC could drum up some interest here? But of course Russians have trouble with visa's which is odd because I was there last month and I had no trouble

Panthers89
Grigory Laguta around a track like that is a real treat, throw in riders like Emil and Killer, and the GP's HAVE to have riders like that, in them. Simple.

mickthemuppet
How do you work that out? Emil is missing and while I think Laguta and Kildemand would be top 8 the best riders are still in the GP in the main. Â Any year you care to pick, ever, has had a rider or two How about, besides Emil and the Luguta brothers and Peter Kilderman there is Bartoz Smarzlik,Martin Vaculik ,Maciej Janowski, Jan Kolodiez Jason Doyle and Thomas Johansson. Darcy Ward and NielsIversen are both currently out of the GP's as well Although Greg Hancock is leading the 2014 table he is not a good a rider as he used to be due to the standard being so poor, at the moment. He won 4 GP's in 2011 and has not won that many adding the last three years together. Hampel ,Lindgren . Harris , Pedersen have all seen better days. The world champion Tai Woffinden finished the Elite League season with an average of 7.73. Is that the lowest average that a current world Champion has had since it all started in 1936.

SCB
Zmazlik away from Gorzow would barely score a GP point. Vaculik I accept but where is he in the GP qualifiers? Doyle and Janowski are not in the SEC either so you can hardly have them can you? Iversen and Ward are in the GP series, frankly thats more ludicrous that your Zmarzlik claim! As for Thomas Jonasson, perleaseee! Pedersen has seen better days? Yes he has but 3rd in the SEC, currently 3rd in the GP standing - you're right, kick him out, there are clearly 12 over riders no in the GP who are better than him. Â The only rider not in the GP who would be challenging for the title is Emil. After that you do have Kildemand, Laguta and Vaculik who be top 8ish. But your claim that there are more top riders out of the GP than in them is madness. Of those you have listed in your post I'd say Emil, Laguta and Vaculik are true but then you've tried to kick out Nicki and argue Zmarzlik and THJ should be in there. OveFundinFan
I though Martin Vaculik last year he was out of gp's for a few years to get more experience then come back for a serious go. What age is he now - 24? Same as Emil probably and he decided to sit out what will be 2 years before may come back.
Bavarian
I was thinking about the crowd, do you think quite a few might have gone to Lonigo instead of Poland, not everybody can afford both and might be quite a problem getting to Lonigo from Poland. No, not many will travel to Lonigo either. The Polish speedway fans do not travel away as much as they used to some years ago. They only have those really huge crowds for some of teh League meetings (local Derbys and top of the table clashes) and some Special Events, but other meetings in Poland are often poorly attended. Last night's SEC final, though, was expected to be a good crowd puller. For some reason it failed to attract the people. The attendance at Czestochowa last night was well below 10,000 and a huge disappointment for SEC / One Sport. They have already indicated that they won't return to Czestochowa next year, due to the low attendance figure. It's a shame because the Stadium is very good and the speedway track there is probably the best race track anywhere in the whole wide world. I can not think of a better / more exciting speedway race track. Czestochowa is as close to perfection as it gets.
LagutaRacingFan
1. Nicki Pedersen 2. Martin Vaculik 3. Emil Sayfuditinov (Unlikely to get wild-card due to FIM) 4. Darcy Ward (Unlikely to get a wild-card due to 3 Aussies) 5. Janusz Kolodizej 6. Michael Jepsen Jensen 7. Grigory Laguta 8. Artem Laguta 9. Peter Kildemand 10. Andreas Jonsson 11. Thomas H Jonasson 12. Shamek Pawlicki 13. Bartosz Zmarzlik 14. Pepe Protasaweich 15. Adrien Miedzinksi 16. Tomasz Gollob  They could pull that line up quite easily and It would be better than the SGP series and you could also use some other SGP riders.. the beauty of the SEC is that you don't need to fill up half the list with crap.  The ones in bold certainly won't get SGP wild-cards while the italics have a chance.
