nw42
Be pleased you can watch it. Without Eurosport your opition would be ? Some of you need to get a grip.. Moaning about live speedway Oh dear. Be thankful But it wasn't live, they did have time put a better programme than that together. You're right though, we are very lucky to get what we do from Eurosport and Sky.
Haza
I was at the meeting yesterday and it should be said that we was very lucky to have had a meeting the rain that fell during the day and to have a meeting was amazing perhaps it's just me or maybe being there was the difference -but I thought it was one of the best I've attended this season - great racing on a great race track I thought . screm
Gollob is a sad sight to watch these days. Heartbreaking to watch. Pedersen owned on his own track. Unless your Greg Hancock, every rider reaches a peak then starts going down hill, this is what's happening to Gollobb. Its always been my ambition to see Gollobb in a competitive meeting, sadly it doesn't look like that will happen. Great rider, but maybe it is better he gives up on his racing career and leave us with so many great memories.
P T Preece
that was an odd programme, straight into heat 5, funny ad breaks, female ref (that will get a few quips), Pedersen rubbish. Gollob hope he is alright bike hit his head, but a sad shadow of the rider he was. enjoyed the commentry, Dave Rowe one of the best, Nicholls in the pits seemed ok as well, Sam anybody got a gag. Some good races, but hard to watch on the tele, advertised as live but wasnt.
OveFundinFan
Who amongst us grumbles about paying the TV licence? The alternative to TV licence is advertising, after all someone has to pay for the programmes. Having been starved of speedway since the early 80's I just glad I get "free" access from Eurosport (ok I pay Sky for the "general" programme package which includes BritEurosport). I dont mind too much about the adverts - they mostly come when the track is being graded anyway so whats the big fuss about. Interesting meeting when the inside line was much faster then the wider line (generally speaking) - maybe Smolinski could have been a winner last night (had he been there). iris123
Just watched it-sack the British Eurosport programme editor-and yes Iris not a problem with your football post(think Alan misunderstood it)Bloody Millwall thugs-I hate them more than Leeds Well as a kid back in the 70s my dad knew i was interested in football and asked me if i wanted to go to see Wimbledon play in the FA Cup at Leeds.I jumped at the chance and it was a great match for the amateur club. But on the train back to London i was shocked at how many fans had needed medical treatment, young, old and even a female or two.Since then i have had no time for the club.Of course it was the heyday of hooliganism, but to attack innocent fans from an amateur club was beyond the pale
Dornier
I find it strange that in a pre recorded meeting we have to miss the first four races and then have to sit through the track grading / watering and have advert breaks willy nilly... it just does not make sense ! I thought they must have condensed the programme but no it went the full three hours......It was just not edited right at all they don`t seem to know that the races are run in blocks of four.....That said it was much better to see what we saw than not see it at all ...Within the three hours alloted time they had ample time to show ALL the races and cut out the small breaks between the blocks of four races and so make it a good production, having said that I think its nothing new for eurosport it happens on all their programmes..

It was always my intention to go and watch Gollob in Bydgoszcz at his majestic best but time has run out for that to happen now.
arnieg
Sort of wishing I'd watched the foreign stream now, was looking forward to it, full meeting with commentary in English and what do we get, first 4 heats missing and Sam doing commentary. Dave's ok though., A bit like starting a broadcast of a footy game 15 minutes after the game started and not telling anyone what the score is. What possible reason can there be for not showing the first 4 heats on a 3 hour long programme? Particularly galling as the introductory remarks promised us that the crucial clash would take place in heat 4. Is it really that difficult to avoid knowing the result? I found no problem. f-s-p
Is the world really so cruel, that no one asks how Gollob is doing after his crash?? I've waited until now, was hoping to see something on Sportowefakty.pl by now...

It's a bit poor really but as you say Eurosport are like it all the time, enjoyed the meeting as a change from the norm so reasonably happy. pandorum
Just caught up with this on the Polish catch up site. Nicki was well owned and it looks like Emil will be SEC champion unless he throws it all away. Nice to see Bogdanov do well. He rides in Denmark so at least knows the tracks. Good also to see Pavlic show some spirit. The SEC is certainly a success after 2 years with the new format and hopefully see Woffy back in next year.
