Mark
If you haven't seen the meeting then don't proceed further in this thread. SPOILERS PRESENT I suppose you could avoid looking on here. There is no reason why those who have watched on the net can't discuss. Did Gollob get up Ok from his spill ? iris123
Sad that you can't make a simple remark encouraging a fellow forum member without incurring someone's ire. Since Millwall are renowned for having the biggest bunch of thuggish ignoramuses anywhere supporting them -No surprise there. Not sure why you are so touchy.Just don't agree with you and your "our prayers" bit.......Have nothing against R&R who is a nice guy unlike some but supporting a rival team,no way would i give them any good luck. That is life.No need to be a drama queen because i made a comment. No big deal as i am sure R&R would agree Don't see why some feel the need to speak for the forum when they don't.Speak for yourself which is what we are all doing.No-one else speaks for me thanks Edited August 9, 2014 by iris123

Very sad. Just trying to work out the standing now after 3 meetings and the SEC website is crap. It has one set of standing on the front page but if you add up the scores on the results page (which are themselves hidden away!) the totals don't add up to the totals on the front for all riders. You don't get this crap on the SGP website!

I got the individual scores from Speedway Updates, as I could not find any on the official website, and the totals shown are the totals of the individual updates scores. http://speedwayeuro.com/

TwoMinuteWarning
So having waited till 8 to watch we are straight into heat5, poor A bit like starting a broadcast of a footy game 15 minutes after the game started and not telling anyone what the score is. What possible reason can there be for not showing the first 4 heats on a 3 hour long programme?
nw42
Sort of wishing I'd watched the foreign stream now, was looking forward to it, full meeting with commentary in English and what do we get, first 4 heats missing and Sam doing commentary. Dave's ok though.,
TwoMinuteWarning
Yeah I know ... foreign language gobbledegook or Sam Ermolenko ... a difficult choice ...
A ORLOV
Glad I watched the stream from where ever earlier in what ever language it was, rather than listen to Sam.
nw42
Yeah I know ... foreign language gobbledegook or Sam Ermolenko ... a difficult choice ... Is there a difference I wonder. Ah well, we're lucky to have as much speedway as we do get these days, mustn't grumble. Edit, now Dave has burnt himself out in heat 9, Vaculik/Pavlic, it's all gone Pete Tong... stevebrum
Gollob is a sad sight to watch these days. Heartbreaking to watch. Pedersen owned on his own track.

Agreed Steve, he's given us all so many great memories, one of a few riders who could really get you on the edge of your seat when watching them race, brilliant rider, maybe he will bow out soon while he's still a fit man.
scottyfan
So having waited till 8 to watch we are straight into heat5, poor .......and (excuse my language) Bloody adverts ever other race......have given up watching it now as fed up with all the advert breaks,2 minutes of speedway, then 4 minutes of adverts, absolutely ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is Eurosport as I remember it from watching years ago, loads of ad breaks and very little attention paid to continuity. It's still good to have so much speedway available from the armchair. Eurosport have been good so far, this is the first time they've reverted to type for a speedway meeting..

nw42
Dreadful track and racing, dreadful (lack of) referring decision. Not great but considering the rain they had it's not as bad a I expected, heat 17 was race of the night so far for me
mickthemuppet
What a disgrace for a Speedway Meeting. A 3 hour recorded programme that begins at heat five and no position of what the riders scores are until after heat eight.. If Eurosport cannot do better than this for a recorded programme they should give it up
