WTF!!!!!!!!

WTF!!!!!!!!

I agree, not a brilliant meeting, far to much advantage on the outside gates. Although the racing was close I thought it was pretty predictable. For me it had a certain "novelty effect" with the start/finish line being in a rediculous position (I also thought it was in a damn dangerous position) We were very lucky that there were no serious accidents in the run to the line..

Why do they have the start/finish line there? It doesn't lengthen the track to make it FIM (start and finish line different places)

The riders were always sideways, and throttle control was a non event, just stick it on and hold on, just adjust line every now and then... I think that if the start line had been in a normal place, the racing would have been completely different..... I am not saying there was no passing, but it was very predictable where and when it was going to happen, tracks should have 4 corners and 2 straights, this was like Peterborough (which is a great track) but with the straights missing....

Good meeting, although Eurosport cut it in half here, starting the broadcast at heat 13! Utter disgrace! Why bother sending it live when they cut the meeting in half? I'd rather watch a recording from heat 1. Ah, well... Speedway comes last in priorities again. What a shocker...

Enough moaning, and yet again: Good meeting, and I enjoyed that startline. Very special. The tapes should've gone up properly though.

Thanks for info

So if compare

So turns out that the riders received this:

1. Nicki Pedersen 7350 SGP $12000 x .73 = 8760 euros
2. Peter Kildemand 5800 $8800 = 6424
3. Janusz Kolodziej 6950 $7200 = 5256
4. Tomasz Gollob 4500 $6200 = 4526
5. Emil Saifutdinov 5400 $5200 = 3796
6. Andreas Jonsson 4500 $5200 = 3796
7. Adrian Miedzinski 4500 $4600 = 3358
8. Maksim Bogdanovs 4050 $4600 = 3358
9. Martin Vaculik 3600 $3850 = 2811
10. Andžejs Lebedevs 3600 $3700 = 2701
11. Kenni Larsen 3150 $3650 = 2665
12. Jonas Davidsson 2700 $3600 = 2628
13. Martin Smolinski 2700 $3550 = 2592
14. Christian Hefenbrock 2250 $3500 = 2555
15. Patryk Dudek 2250 $3450 = 2519
16. Jurica Pavlic 1800 $3400 = 2482

17. Kai Huckenbeck 450 $1000 = 730

So you are better off if you better off in the middle results but not necessarily at the top or bottom.

As I understand it the points money is the only money in SEC and no travel but this may be wrong.

Also BSI have been said to pay $12000 to each permanent gp rider so equates to another $1000 per meeting (730 euros) which is not included in above.

Cycling finished now and football is very dull as still nil nil so I have time on my hands too

How odd. Greg Laguta withfraws from the competition then Artem doesnt get a wildcard. Have the Lagutas upset someone?

Artem Laguta haven't been doing particular good this and perhaps he turned down the wild card.

As for Grigorij Laguta he is injured but might be able to ride in Holsted.

Probably more to do with Artem no longer riding for Mega Lada and they want a home track rider.

Vitaly Belousov is their new darling and pretty handy around Togliatti.

where did laguta get injured?

Grigorij injured himself in a Russian league meeting in June (maybe about a month ago or so). It was after he had won a heat, he put his foot down on the track

but it got stuck between the ground and the foot rest so he broke it (again). He is expected to be away for another 3 weeks are so.
