skthecat
What do you think this would indicate? Obviously 5-1's and 3-3's but does it indicate a high level of team riding? Home and Away rider's, track easy to team ride on....? Edited October 29, 2013 by Never to old
foamfence
What reason would anyone have for wanting to know? I should imagine Somerset had a lot of bonus points this season because they had such a strong team, rather than track characteristics. In the past I'd have said it was Wolverhampton as I remember their team averages were quite inflated by bonus points. I'd have said though, it's more a function of the riders rather than track. Perhaps it should be "Which Speedway Team.." rather than "Which Speedway track..." ?
John Leslie
You will find that if you take a large enough sample of matches, it tends towards there being an average of 10 bonus points in any 15 heat match, regardless of track or teams. The number of bonus points is more to do with statistical probability than track shape or team make-up Edited October 30, 2013 by John Leslie
Phil The Ace
I'd say belle Vue. Plenty of 5-1s to the away teams. And when we do win a race out other rider is last so plenty of 3-3s to
skthecat
Ok, I was seeing if anyone thought that maybe, some tracks were more suited to team riding than others, therefore more likely two riders being able to defend a 5-1 and/or 3-3 race situations .......
