Kent Whistle Gang
Third in the pairs, well done to Simon and Ben. Ever onwards and upwards! I second that sentiment - well done boys. Another podium finish for the Kings. Reckon it might have been different if Coventry hadn't been decimated by injuries. Still, you can only beat the riders they put on the track and we're having our share of injury miseries ourselves.
Heathen1984
With cov and cradley at full strength wud of certainly been a different outcome. Ride against what's there thou and we'll done.
Rebel1
This is my sentiment, you can only beat who is up against you. A win is a win whatever. You have to be in it to win it in any case!
Heathen1984
Yeh takin nothing away from the winners, fully deserved. Just shame to strongest teams in the league wasn't at full strength in this competition aswell thou. Would of made a better meeting.

Heathen1984
Bit harsh on the kid. Is Freemantle back or not then?
Guest
Some big news on the Kent Kings website - the official source for club information.
Kent Whistle Gang
Bit harsh on the kid. Is Freemantle back or not then? Looks like Kings are replacing him with another (like Ayres) MDL and former Motocross rider, Jason Garrad (related to Bob, or was that spelt differently?). In truth, Luke hasn't progressed as quickly as promised by his initial potential. The break from NL pressures will do him good.
blueherb777
Kings becoming more and more a Rye House feeder Club. Just my opinion.
Rebel1
Luke Harris says he's been dropped. Sorry to hear this. This league is about bringing on youngsters, not knocking the stuffing out of them. Go on and show them at the under 16,s meetings Luke.

whistlegang
Harris has taken steps back in my opinion. Chessell and Ayres have come on leaps.
Sings4Speedway
Whilst i agree that young Luke was probably pushed into the team a little early and may be a little unfortunate that Danny is going so well and exposing his scores im not sure another total rookie is the answer. Looking at Jason Garrad’s MDL record this season so far is:Matches 4Rides: 9Points: 19Bonus pts: 3Total: 22Unofficial average: 9.78 4 matches should yield a 12-16 rides not 9 (mechanically unsound and crash happy) Ignoring bonus points as they count for little 19 points from 9 rides is 2 per ride in MDL hardly setting the world alight. I was at Rye on Sat evening when Jason started the evening being sent back to the pits as he had entered the track in the wrong helmet colour. Whilst none of these are shocking issues on thier own i cant help thinking just 4 MDL meetings and straight into the kent team is a little too fast! blueherb777
Disgraceful getting rid of Harris just after a few meeting. Nothing surprises me with Mr Silver. And Kings are there to help his Club.
Heathen1984
Obviously I ain't seen him as much as you Kent fans but doesn't seem he was doing to bad with his scores.
whistlegang
I wonder how long they will give Garrad? Wasn't one of the reserve places meant to be a job share between Harris and Ayres? Maybe they should of at least waited to see how Harris fared against Kirby next Monday? After all, they gave Kirby a whole season..... Sings4Speedway
It cant have been easy for Luke to make the travelling whilst still at school for the monday nights but i still think he was worth a little longer to get settled. Yes he had gone backward and certainly looks tired in any races after the fourth but still looks better than the new boy. I will definitely be there on monday as i suspect thrills and spills. 4 x MDL meetings as racing experience is nowhere near enough!
