Daniel Smith
I must admit I'm a bit disappointed with the team being put together where's the focus on future talent for the stars ? I can not see much improvement in most of the team apart from Lewis rose and josh bailey. Ritchings is a Swindon asset so we will not gain anything from him and the rest have done the rounds now and hover around there average they are on now. I would rather be bottom of the league with a load of youngsters who are stars assets and want to improve and watch them progress. This is just my opinion :-) I'm with you on this one. It's a "no frills" line up just solid. Passing will be at a premium this year.
Bagpuss
Mallett, Cockle & Campos have a 'same old' feel to them unfortunately. The other three are exciting young talents and hopefully the seventh rider will fit into that category too. Disappointing not to see local lad Connor Mountain in the side, much more pressure on him at Mouldyhole where he will no doubt be sacked if he doesn't produce the goods. Parsloes 1928 nearly
James Cockle SignsThe return of former Tottenham Hotspur school-boy footballer Master Cockle brings the total of London-born riders in the 2014 NL to three. Come on folks, it's still the 'silly season', how quickly can someone name me the other two!!

semion
I guess the Class of 14 was always going to be a bit of a come down compared to the one of 13. Like Baggy, I am a little disappointed to see young Mountain not at Lynn, after coming through the MDL. Perhaps Dale could tell us why he couldnt give him the 6/7 race jacket. Allitt Racing
Semion hi. We did offer Connor a contract along with josh last year. However Connor decided on mildenhall which of course was his choice. Â Furrow Some people wonder why team managers and promoters choose not to come on here. Comments like yours are the reason. Anyone that knows me and what I stand for and have done already with the young stars knows how I work. Being a " mate " has nothing to do with it. As for ambition again you clearly don't know me at all.

Tough that you don't like my comment but let's face it how many times have you signed Cockle before you quote young stars tell tell me what do you see young about some that you've signed the likes of Rose are the future Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only fan who is disappointed with the conference team hopefully the last signing will be a future up and coming stars asset kevin Brice ???Is Brice a mate of the management if so he may be in with a chance
MrMungo
Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only fan who is disappointed with the conference team hopefully the last signing will be a future up and coming stars asset kevin Brice ??? I was actually thinking about Kevin Brice earlier! What a legend he was. Â Anyway, back on topic. Screamer hit the nail on the head. Solid is a term that describes it perfectly. Lacks a tad in spectacularity, but if all riders add half a point to their average (which is not beyond the realms of possibility by any means), then they'll be in the play-offs, or very close to it. lynnboy
Kevin Brice what a star he was ! Chris Harris should employ him to lean how to gate always first to the first bend. Never forget him telling henka where to go with hand signals when team riding henka was at half speed those where the days !
greyhoundp
I would have thought Nathan Stoneman, would be a good shout for a Team spot at Lynn, I read on his Facebook recently, that he is NOT an asset of any Team..
Greg
There seem to be people thinking Lynn dont bring on talent are you a key board warrior or do you just come to Lynn and watch meeting with your eyes closed ? first we got 3 guy from last year nl team in the el team and they are all local and Darren M has proved he can ride premier and as for James Cockle give him a full season injury free he will be premier or if rules stay the same even el and well done getting behind your local team.

I take it you was referring to me Greg so I have a few points here for you  1. I never said kingslynn have not produced any talent, I have said I am not happy with some of the riders who are not going to improve there average and would rather have a national league team of young up and coming riders.  2. Yes Darren Mallett has proved he can ride in the premier but how many years ago was that Greg ?  3. James Cockle will be 28 this year so how can he get in the elite league unless he has a season like Robert Lambert as he is too old to be a reserve in the elite!  4. I do get behind the team Greg as I have been supporting the stars home and away long before you where born.  5. please don't class me as a keyboard warrior when you don't even know me.  6. I do have my eyes open when I go to speedway if not it would not be worth going would it!!!  I just want to see up and coming riders not run of the mill riders, that's what this league was set up for, I bet Matt Ford will be putting youngsters in his team at Scunthorpe.

Just so you know, there is no age restriction that I know of. Lewis Blackbird will be 27 come the start of the season
