Improving rider, i said this weeks ago. Rosco need to get his monical on a contract quick smart, otherwise......

Made me laugh - I think you meant moniker when in fact it should be signature

Not sure what was funniest that or the fact that he told us weeks ago that Morris is an improving rider. No sh!t, Sherlock Holmes must be quaking in his boots :D

You brighten my day Starry, you really do!

A great evening last night. Some good racing from the Swindon boys, NKI(in the early heats), Bjarne and Darcy (despite the big off caused by KK!!). Although late in the season, it would seem we've learnt how to provide a decent race track at last - Torrential rain all morning, followed by sun and a stiff breeze all afternoon - perfect!!

Interesting comments at the end by MF on the TV situation - suggesting that IF there is no more Sky, then there could be 2 other options!!??

Also speaking to some of the team and meeting corporate sponsors in attendance last night, the majority clearly want to (pay to) see and support the 'Top' riders, which could give the BSPA one hell of a dilemma come AGM time!!!

PS. Have to echo the comments about the meeting programme - 56 full colour pages with photo spreads from Brum on Tuesday night - a superb (and record?!) achievement to turn that around. Well done to the Prog Co-Ordinator and all the production crew!! (and yes I am biased! :t::cheers: )

I should think that with a sensible family behind him, he wouldn't be swayed Ford and his cancerous methods.

I heard that Swindon were trying to sell Nick Morris a few weeks ago Edited by BROCK

I believe you! ;) Just interesting to know why considering he'd be worth a lot more in a few years as he has a lot of potential.

I never get this claim. In speedway, it's not point corer that win you title but riders improving. So it stands to reason a rider with improvement in him will be worth more than a rider who can't improve. To me, the Woffys and Ward of the World are not worth as much as the Nick Morris and Josh Grajczonek who will put points on their averages.

largely agree BUT top number 1s like ward and woffinden are worth more than their average because they will take 5 rides each week plus are excellent double point options. what u really want (imho) is a top notch double spearhead who will atcleast maintain their average plus 5 riders below them who will improve.
