Crazy robin
No doubt that the final signing will determine how well the Brummies do in 2014. Each team will have a weak link but I doubt it will be this rider. Remarkably they have a team yet again where any of the top five could be#1 during the season. Matches will be close but a solid line up could benefit them in matches. All last year it looked like Birmingham were one of the best teams and they didn't have a true number one then. Results may have gone their way at times but they also threw away points towards the end and could have finished well ahead of the rest. Knowing how the season ahead will turn out is guess work really and everyone needs a bit of luck at times but Brummies should be formidable at home and the final rider is sure to be a key part of the team and his identity is easy to find !!! They won't have a high scoring reserve this season like they had in 2013 which was a big help to them.

Paul Starke will get points at reserve and should be capable of 6-8 points at home without breaking sweat
SteveLyric2
taking too long need the name dennis andersson? The rider hasn't ridden for Poole - apparently! And I haven't had a reply to my suggestion of Thornblom?!
The Pedaler
If you're going to pluck names out of the air, then why not go for Pawel Przedpełski? If he can come in on an assessed 4.00 or 5.00 average then why not? (other than a. the counter argument of "why the hell should he"? & b. who the hell will be able to spell let alone pronounce his name?) T.N.T.
DANIEL Nermark will be announced this week, completing the Brummies' side. SHOCK !!! Well not really and much better than his 5.27 average suggests. Will be a strong second string and with Skornicki will add experience and stability to a well balanced team that do look strong at home but not too sure about away. If you mean that they are beatable in every position in the team! I hope the Brummies fans turn out for the team that has been put together but can only see a season of struggle

SCB
I'd have put good money on Covatti being the last signing tbh. I'm amazed that if he's not signed for Birmingham that someone else hasn't picked him up, probably in the PL admittedly.

Well it looks like he wont be riding in Britain next year, as no PL team can currently fit him in. A real shame as hes an entertaining rider that when riding well is good to watch. So what happened to full time Brummies or full time Premier League next year that was said by Graham at a fans talk in. As an Asset, if hes not going to be part of our team, we should have found him a PL spot. Dont believe the interest wasnt there when he put 1.5 on his EL average last year. He put 1.5 points on his assessed average - that suggests his assessed average was incorrect - it doesn't suggest he had a great year!
The Pedaler
...a well balanced team that do look strong at home but not too sure about away. How can a team that rides at a venue that has no home track advantage be stronger at home than away? If they are weak then they will be weak at home too. March will be a big test. 2 away meetings and a home meeting against a strong looking Belle Vue team. Could easily be 0-3 after 3. The Brummies season could be over before most of the others have begun. Not impressed.

T.N.T.
How can a team that rides at a venue that has no home track advantage be stronger at home than away? King and Barker know the fastest way around Perry Barr The track should suit Eddie Kennett Skornicki goes well there usually ad Nermark had a couple of seasons ther Paul Starke is a good reserve and he could be dominant at home in the reserve races a the season goes on They WILL do well at home but the top three look a bit weak away
