I think that the Brummies should go for Linus Sundstrom, I cannot see a so called big hitter being signed and regarding Kennett I reckon it is a very strong possibility of it being him as the DU Rider alongside Barker.

It will be a strange decision if Kennett comes in as one of the DU riders? will Auty now be out in limbo his EL career looks dim at the moment. I hope not on that average he would be a good signing for a top 5 the Nico scenario that does not make sense you do all the groundwork yet another club might reap the benefit.? Edited by sidney

Auty not riding in the Elite League according to what he put on twitter, a real shame as I think he can still do job at the Brummies, more so than Nico imo.

Absolute joke if Josh does not ride in the EL, what's the point are you telling me he is not good anough.? Our league is such a joke, riders who have done nothing wrong get punished.

Of course hes good enough but it seems the promotors disagree. I feel the introduction of the EL draft hasn't helped him , less places for already proven EL riders.

I think that the Brummies should go for Linus Sundstrom,

Nigel he would be a worth a punt, but if Nico comes back then Sundstroms gsa would just be a little too high, as for Josh he did seem to, have gone backwards last season, and I think he has reached his level at PB and will not get any better for us.

using that theory Barker, Nicholls and Harris should all be put down as they have gone backwards or stagnated in the last 5 seasons!

Pretty much, Harris knocked a point off his average, Nicholls was similarly dire, and Barker was very inconsistent.

Heat leaders you don't mind so much if they maintain their average, but 2nd strings and reserves, you really need someone who's going to improve theirs, in 2013 Auty look like a mid 5 was his ceiling.

Kenni Larsen 7.26 and Daniel Nermark 5.26 would be a good pair of riders to complete a solid 1-5

7.46 Daniel King

7.26 Kenni Larsen

6.47 Ben Barker *

6.39 Edward Kennett *

5.27 Daniel Nermark

Only worrying thing to me is having four riders that are riding in other leagues but overall this would be a hard team to beat and Coventry can yet again count on a nice set of loan fees for the season.

That team has wooden spoon written all over it!

I have difficulty finding someone in that team with any leadership qualities, They all look quite similar strength. Listening to Buster on the proposed league format, he envisaged that the riders will be riding against the opposite number in the other team: i.e., Heatleaders Vs Heatleader, Second string Vs Second etc. So prethinking that scenario, the above team would benefit with their second strings but would lose out with their Heat leaders. Like swings and roundabouts.. Should be interesting....

Have to agree I'm afraid, there's some people who are saying we are lucky to have a team and I can see their point, my worry however is, if the team looks distinctly mediocre, that's hardly going to entice people through the gate is it ?, it's one things trying to cut costs, but it's rather a moot point if not enough people are turning up to watch an average side.

Drury needs a good signing out of the last two places, options will be narrow but I cant see fans being too excited by this team so far, and before the keyboard warriors appear I pay my money so entitled to my opinion. Hopefully it will turn out ok in the end I hope so as we all want the Brummies to prosper.
