Starman2006
Give Brady Kurtz the correct average, maybe? Why don't you go and complain on your own Teams thread, if you have one. What do you want him on, a ten? may be Alex back now we can fit him in!!! If Alex gets his visa will he be back now he fits!!! No, to honest it will do Alex the world of good for a change of scenery. This development might all seem a little harsh given that a wheel has not even been turned in Anger, but the bottom line is from my point of view, Nick should never had been dropped in the first place. I rate the lad and he still on the upgrade. If Nick is going to miss meetings and he's your No 1, then you will have a guest.

Pirate Nick
Tbf I don't think Somerset were prepared to go into the 2014 with a number one who is clearly showing confidence problems. One of the Wolves fans posted in the Wolves thread that it was a blow to Wolves that he had been dropped because he needed the Prem to regain his confidence. Well that's all well and good but you can't expect a Prem team to go with a no1 who is in need of confidence boosting (and given his scores so far he is clearly not the Ty Proctor of last year at the moment). I hope Ty regains his form and goes on to be a cracking rider for Wolves this year, but I think as it stands at the moment Somerset have made the right decision.
lewy
On plymouth thread starman you stated a number of times how it was not very professional to releasee a rider how plymouth did with lemon on dec 11th but when somerset do similar its fine, personally i think management must do what they think is best for the team but i dont have your double standards
Najjer
Nick Morris for Ty is a no brainer .. News that will put a smile on every single rebels fans face .... The magician may is already turning tricks and the season hasn't even started yet .... Poole and somerset for the double anyone ???? Couldn't care less about Poole, but like I said we are now one good rider away from being contenders again. With the spare points we have remaining, it seems madness not to use them now no matter how harsh and ruthless it may appear.

I'd say that IF it was too happen, Wright has to be the man to go for me, as would mean pushing Kurtz down to reserve, and could be a potential trump card. Steve0
What a disgrace Somerset are by first releasing Nick, then dumping Ty without him turning a wheel for them and replacing him with Morris - disgraceful!!!
torpointfanatic22
may be Alex back now we can fit him in!!! If Alex gets his visa will he be back now he fits!!! Surely your problems lie at the bottom end rather than the top? Aspgren out for Davies would be an improvement for you there is no doubt but surely if you need to replace anyone it would be one of the reserves to potentially allow Todd to ride at 6 or 7? ruffdiamond
Apart from Plymouth releasing Mark Lemon earlier this year.... maybe he had turned too many wheels in the past ;-)

JT
Somerset = Ruthless I don't think I have ever seen a club release a rider to bring in another without a wheel been turned. In saying that I was surprised to see that when Jason Doyle was not coming back that they went for Ty Proctor rather than Nick Morris. I am also surprised that Nick Morris would want to go back to Somerset, after been dropped and then over looked. I remember Tim Stone doing it prior to the ill fated 2000 season at Newport. Initially we signed an untried German by the name of Stefan Bachhuber on a 9 point average. In fairness to Bachhuber he appeared to have really impressive kit and a great style (which is more than can be said of many of Tim Stone's signings), but he was ousted pre-season (at the last minute if I recall correctly) in favour of Ben Howe, who came in on the bargain average of 11.80… JT. SCB
And then there was a poor signing of David Kajawa ? who probably should have been dropped before a wheel had turned.Ah, Kujawa. Rode two heats very half heartedly and walked out. People complaining he's been dropped before turning a wheel, the SRBF, the olympique, Mads testimonial and Havvys farewell don't count then?
