MORRIS

GRAJCZONEK

ELLIS

ROSE

Cant see Doyle back either full time with Swindon or d/u with R/House Davies would have to up his away form and with Ellis maybe Ipswich going Elite. Hope im wrong about Doyle as I would have him back and build the team around him

Blimey where did d/up with Rye come from, Len would not be able to afford him.

Doyley is nailed on Swindon bound. The Rebels need to keep the core of this years side bar Jason. Nick, Josh, Kyle, Alex and Wrighty all have improvement in them. Those guys alone make a formidable top 5.

I tend to agree, continuity is the key, home form is imperative. Nick and Josh are top riders at away venues, and if Alex continues his improvement the Rebels wil have another formidable top three next year.

1. Nick Morris 8.84

2. Kyle Newman 5.32

3. Alex Davies 7.48

4. Todd Kurtz 4.92

5. Josh Grajczonek 8.41

6. Charles Wright 4.30

7. Robert Lambert 3.00?/ greenwood/ rose

would love doyle back but doubt it; morris and grajczonek a must, kurtz, newman, davies and wright seems odds on. Garry always pulls out a surprise signing though and what a signing Lambert would be, got the talent to be 6 odd point rider in my opinion.

Am I right in saying you can't ride PL until your 16? If so, isn't Robert Lambert 16 until the middle of the season?

I really can't understand why many on here are not including Kyle Newman in their 0-14 team..

Continuity is ok but it probably won't win the League title again. Teams need to build with riders who can improve their averages.

From an outside perspective I'd say only one of the top 4 can be retained as I can't see any major improvement from them. Stick with Doyle, he's a fans favourite and one of the best in the league.

So who fills the next two slots? The name Zetterstrom has been mentioned and may not be as outlandish as it seems. He'd come in on a 7.8 average which he is bound to improve on, he'd be one of the Premier League's top men. Taking the third spot Claus Vissing. More than capable of adding a point to his average back at the OTA.

Next up Kyle Newman. He'll never be a world beater but has enough about him to become a solid PL middle order rider. He's very professional and could add to his starting figure.

Rounding off the top 5, Todd Kurtz. Surprised he is still only on a sub 5 average. He has the potential and must kick on in 2014. A move to Somerset alongside his brother Brady, who I'd put in the number 6 slot may just do that.

Finally, Stefan Nielsen. He's a class act, was dealt a bad hand by the Rebels towards the end if last year but he's capable of improving on his 4.7 starting figure. Somerset owe him a shot perhaps and wherever he rides in 2014 he'll be one of the best reserves in the league.

Outsider perspective of course, had a bit of time on my hands!

Cannot see the Rebels management "rewarding" Nick,Josh,Alex and Charlie with the tin tack after saying how great the team spirit has been throughout this extraordinary season. I can see Nick and Josh both comfortably hitting a 9 average, and Alex getting up to a high 7, and Charlie progressing to a 5 next term. I see Cookie has every intention of staying in the Prem next year according to the Speedway Star, so maybe Jason will aswell, whatever happens I think we would be barmy to mess with what we have.

because he's nearly 23??

Nothing wrong with 23. He's still open to a bit more improvement imo. The better the Equipment he's got, the better he'l go. Now, if he was 25, and on that average you might have to ask questions.
