Rebels 2014

I'd say so, yes.

Although still not right. That certainly wasnt 'the spin' at the time -it was always implied as patrialty.

Despite my team benefiting in the Heeps case I do think this is an area that needs to be watertight.

I believe there needs to be a commitment to GB with penalties if this is not adhered to.

Might need to make another change to the side then!

Might have to make a change as Jason Doyle has been refused a UK Visa, according to Paul Burbidge on Twitter.

Not the only Aussie having problems, apparently.

Strange that Doyle would be rejected though as he is one of the top Aussie's as he proved earlier on!

Wonder who the other riders that are struggling to get a Visa

Seem to remember the problem for Masters last year is the Aussies can only do so many years without moving here permanently or taking a year out. Doyley has been here a few years so maybe falling foul of that rule. Others with British Grandparents don't have an issue and some have moved here full time.

How good you are doesn't cut it with the authorities.

What happened with Heeps is merely an example of the corrupt practices at the heart of British Speedway - others have received the same preferential treatment.

The way I see it it is watertight but was just blatantly ignored.

Interesting one this . If Doyle is forced out in 2014 , do the Rebels promotion go back cap in hand to Nick Morris and what would his reaction be ? . Though i cant understand how someone like Doyle , who has ridden over here quite a few seasons , has visa problems at all . He's proved how capable a rider he is .

Don`t understand this visa thing at all, Crumpie, Leigh Adams never had a problem, was it because they were Gp. It will be a massive blow for Jason personally not being able to ride over here after making great strides last term. Not sure about the "cap in hand" reference to Nick, I`m sure he would love to be riding for Somerset again, as I pointed out earlier it was the numbers game that mucked it up for him and the Rebels.I would think anyone who rides speedway accepts that this type of thing can happen. I hope it all pans out for Jason, Nick and Alex one way or another.

Happy new year everyone.
