A ORLOV
What about panthers Sorry Hans, as not on PL club list did not think of them and like many others hope that they do run in 2014, in fact Panthers could be a better option. RHayes
Still unofficial of course, maybe the Rebels have someone lined up to replace Nick already.....plan B, shame if it is true though, hugely popular this term. Should Brady be a 5.00 now, that means a rider up to 6.95 could be accommodated. Also means that Somerset are replacing their most consistent rider from last year
ruffdiamond
Bill owns the stadium and is a farmer so it will either be polystyrene or straw and held together with baler twine ???,,, excellent No Nick Morris at Somerset in 2014. could he not come to Newcastle,,, r,,, too late,,, shame really :-(

SCOTLAND1314
No Nick Morris at Somerset in 2014. Really sorry to hear that. I hope he can get himself fixed up with another PL team asap. He is a real talent and is definitely going places in the sport. Good luck.
Tsunami
These problems regarding Averages crop EVERY season."Only in Speedway "is the only way to describe these rule makers . Did you have a workable alternative. Free for all, grades, or squads. ? Looks like Nick has been removed from the Somerset side in a reshuffle due to Brady Kurtz coming in on a 5 & not a 3. Kurtz has a Danish licence apparently which is the reason for the increased average according to our local media man in swindon. I guess as swindon will have priority over Somerset for any clashes they've decided to keep Olly Allen over Nick. I maybe wrong mind, but that's how it appears. So Gary knows he has a Danish licence, and still thinks he can get a 3 for Brady. Not a smart assumption, and this decisions brings back some credibility to the situation, but feel sorry for Nick Morris through this. Mr Blobby
I think that leaves 6.95 ish for the replacement Or leaves about 4.95 ish if he comes in on a 7.00
Boobs
I'd now expect Robin Aspegren to turn up at OTA (if Brady is a 5, if he's a 7 they're really stuffed) and as some one suggested, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Nick (and Lemon, and Lanham) turn up at Peterborough. Who should really be on this section of the forum by now -- who's trying to kid who they aren't going to be in PL?

So you keep in contact with your governing body throughout the season, checking at every stage is it ok to ride in this league or that meeting and at every stage your governing body says yes. Then when you declare your side the same governing body changes it's mind. Perhaps the chairman would care to comment? Sour grapes? You might think so, I couldn't possibly comment!

Catalan
Does seem strange if you have been oked a riders average only to be told different when you declare. As Nick says can't comment on the sour grapes issue but can see why promoters don't care about speedway on the whole when you are constantly shafted by your own committee.

As well as for the Rebels this action may also have repercussions for Nick Morris, Swindon and others. Ashley Birks if ok may be back at Scunthorpe, which makes it awkward for both him and Nick to du at Swindon if both are at that club. It is not known that Peterborough will be in the PL, if they do join, meeting clashes with Swindon could rule him out of Peterborough. This could leave Nick without a PL team, screw up Ashley riding in the EL, muck up Swindons team plans, the whole thing is a mess.

The clue should have been the Danish licence to both the BSPA and Garry, Nick. Ask at the beginning at the beginning of the season and get a nod, but to then ride in Denmark on a Danish licence It was never going to be on, especially now the licence is known about and it's now certainly not a runner. Maybe the reps of the BSPA got it wrong in the first case before the licence was obtained, but why then would Garry keep asking and checking, he must have known it was at least dodgy as it was certainly apparent to everyone else on two counts. Just feel there is something missing from this story. It wasn't Matt he asked at the BSPA was it. emilali
Feel really sorry for Nick Morris. The innocent party in all of this. Somersets attempt at cheating has not only harmed there own chances but also Nick Morris is now out of a job. Disgrace all round.
SCB
The Danish license is irrelevant. The only time it matters is that 4 Americans come in on 5's. It doesn't matter what your license or passport, if you have ridden in a pro-league (so Denmark) then you come in on a 7. If a Brit went and rode in Denmark and then come back, he'd be a 7.
