Have done some deep research and well what do people think of this lineup:

1. Nick Morris - will become (hopefully) the new Jason Doyle.

2. Todd Kurtz - could do with a different track as is capable of scoring higher than 4.92.

3. Olly Allen - injured for a period last season, won the PLRC could do with a season just at PL level.

4. Gino Manzares - has the talent, won the rob woffinden memorial beating no less than Jason Doyle, get him signed up now.

5. 8.35 - STUMPED, Rich Lawson? Kake Nieminen? Etc

6. Charles Wright - not much needs saying

7. Brady Kurtz - signed, sealed and delivered in my opinion.

what do you guys think?

Olly Allen gets injured often and won zero races in the cup walloping of Rye at the OTA. Brady Kurtz is a good shout as I pointed out in an earlier post, coupled with brother Todd who did himself no harm with a great performance in the 4 man nailbiter at Rye as a guest.I`m not sure that gary would go with another prem virgin having maybe gone with Brady,so not sure about Gino. Nick and Charlie must nailed on. How about Sedgy he wrote in this weeks Star that it was a mistake leaving Somerset, not sure what he would come in on now,he seems to have got his enthusiasm back, still we will find out Thursday..........can`t wait.

The only reason I stated Allen was because the rest of the team are young riders and need someone with experience. Nick, Charles, Brady and imo Todd are nailed on. I wouldn't normally go with two new faces to the premier but sometimes risks pay and we always get at least one surprise signing and I think a SWC rider on a 5.00 would do. I do like the idea of Hougaard and if my sums are correct he would be 9.38 meaning take Allen and replace with Vissing that fits and is a great team. Hougaard todd morris gino vissing wright brady

Am i right in saying Todd Kurtz came in on a 3? Unless they have different relations somewhere along the line Brady will be a 3 aswel.

But Brady has raced in Oz U21 and the top Danish League hasnt he?

I thought this altered his status - if not why not?!

The thing i don't agree with is Aussies coming on on a 3 and saying "oh my great great grandmother was britsh" which allows them to come in such a low average.

They have no intention of riding for GB in the future and class theirselfs as Aussies 100%!

Also Kurts has rode in the Aus under 21's plus Dnaish top league so he is not coming in with no experience of riding in wurope either.

Unless the rules are changed they will constantly abuse it

does young Kurtz come in on a 5 or a 3?

3

correct

No todd kurtz at plymouth, they have just signed katajisto and lemon. Make of that what you will.

Please keep up, I said on page 6 of this thread on 4th November that Todd Kurtz not wanted by Plymouth, I give all this info and nobody believes me.

As I understand it, the Elite League club has priority over a rider services unless the Premier club has signed him first and he is doubling up, so for example Josh will have to ride for Poole and not Workington if home or away fixtures clash. Therefore some of the names rumoured for Somerset would be impractical, we already had the problem last season of riders missing because of a re arranged fixtures.

Not quite OT....as far as I understand it, the Elite League will only take priority if the rider in question is an asset of that Elite League club, irrespective of whom signed them first, so for example:

Craig Cook riding for both Belle Vue & Edinburgh. He is an Edinburgh asset so Edinburgh will have priority on his services

Richie Worrall riding for both Belle Vue & Ipswich. He is a Belle Vue asset so they will have priority on his services in any fixture clashes

If a rider is an asset of neither club he is riding for, then the PL team have priority on his services.

As I say, that's how I understand the arrangements for 2014
