Gavan
For the sake of speedway lets hope the Brummies win i dont agree for the sake of speedway. speedway is dying irrelevent of who wins it. the only issue i have is how Poole got to the play offs. its pretty obvious that they are the best team in the last 4 Sports when one person/team dominate are not good for encouraging interest, look how Vettel is currently killing F1 stone dead. dont agree. look how good it is and how much people enjoy beating Man Utd and watching a Van Gerwen beat Taylor. The other teams should strive to be the best. Poole are always there or thereabouts and yes not always be the correct way of doing things, but doesnt it make it sweeter if your team beats them? Poole have been the team to beat in recent years and coupled with the fact that they have a promoter who lets just say isnt 'speedway friendly' and a manager that this season has lost a lot of peoples respect, surely it must be more satisfying to beat them? foreverblue
Couldn't have taken place the following Monday as Belle Vue were due to ride at Peterborough. If it didn't take place on the day it was rode,Poole would have most likely missed out on the playoffs due to the cut-off date.So you can see why it was desperate for Poole to get the meeting on. It would have taken place the following monday, the peterborough match would have been postponed

500cc
It would have taken place the following monday, the peterborough match would have been postponed Why on earth would Peterborough have agreed to call that match off. Not a hope. They would have fought to keep that match on and the fallout if they'd been forced to cancel would have been huge.

Then load it into your image viewer (could be Preview) and print.

pirateandi
What a shocking track wonder if the same people who have been slating pooles all season have a voice tonight !
stevebrum
Just think that some Poole fans were still nervy about Newman being at number 7. Easily outscoring what Dyer was likely to do. Looks like the ref is trying to get this match thru to let Poole win, can be the only excuse for missing the massive flyer from Newman in heat 2. Brum folding quicker than a pack of cards. What a damp squib they have been after a fantastic season. Gotta feel for their fans.
TheReturn
What a shocking track wonder if the same people who have been slating pooles all season have a voice tonight ! You really are amazing... and I don't mean that as a compliment. Even on sunny dry days, the Poole track is like a rollercoaster. Today is hard track conditions, but that is because of three days of rain, so instead of trying to score points, engage brain first.

Gee nw42 don't think i'll be getting a mac anytime soon lol, Hope my racecards aren't as convoluted to print out on that operating system (no bad reflection meant to drofgum's cards at all) Incidentally, i would have produced a MiniMax racecard for the finals with the formatting of my Swedish and Danish styles but thought Sky produced their own. I just had a glance at the Sky card for the first time and wow i never knew it's only a BLANK card they supply! Alas ,we might likely not have Sky next season so i won't get to produce them. I've also always held back from producing cards for domestic meetings in case fans may not purchase the match programme if they have a racecard. However, on reflection i think the way the economy is that people can either afford to go to a meeting or not and if the former they'll likely have the dosh and will to buy a programme.
