Birmingham V Poole Grand Final 2nd Leg

Recommended Posts

What utter moron decided to play it tomorrow ?.

The Elite League deserves to die in it's current format with suicidal commercial decisions like that, putting the showpiece match of the calendar up against a crucial England qualifier

Enough is enough now, the clowns agreeing to these schedule are going to be the death of British Speedway, the organising body needs ripping to shreds and starting again as it's not fit for purpose crashing websites that can accept 4 people at once and putting the Grand Final against crucual England games, what kind of f****** commercial decisions are those ? whoever agreed to them deserve instant dismissal for such daftness that could cost us all dearly.

Forget the fact its going ahead against England v Poland but more annoyed with the start time of 7pm, going to be carnage getting through rush hour traffic for those travelling in to Brum.

Final nail into coffin of "Elite" League Speedway.

This isn't some lads having a kickabout over the park who decide to comeback tomorrow to finish the game but is the supposedly showpiece event of the "Elite" League, was this rain off date advertised in advance.

Good luck for anyone who had booked annual leave to travel from Dorset (I know most are over 60 before anyone responds ;-) but to then try and get tomorrow off as well.....

The new track covers, cover all areas. Not sure why they were not used.

Because it takes so dam long to lay them and take them up, its just not practical, ive outlined this time and time again, but many on here just don't listen. just to cover the bends would have been a dam big help. Why they couldn't have re-schedualled for next monday i'll never know.

Those poole fans who have booked on to coaches please keep an eye on our website, we now leave at 2pm tomorrow. As for fans that can't make it, again please keep an eye on our website.

The "CLOWNS" that you would be reffering to on this occasion would be birmingham and poole !!!

they are the ones who have to arrange the re-staging. (oh and sky)

the bspa have nothing to do with the restaging date........ .#easierjusttoblamethem #getthefacts

And a text update from Birmingham. I would say that was probably good enough, although some will still whinge, no doubt.

A real shame for the hundreds of Pirates fans who booked today off to travel up and witness the final. Very disappointing as the forecast is for a dry evening.

To put this meeting up against England v poland is financially not the most astute act but my gguess is Sky probably demanded the date as all their equipment is in place and it would cost an arm and a leg to take it down and away. By leaving it for 24 hours cushions their financial ooutlay.

It doesn't affect me personally as I will be heading up there tomorrow but there will be many Poole fans unable to get a day booked off in such short notice. My heart goes out to them who deserve better. Nowhere does it say that the re-scheduled date was tomorrow. Just seems a hasty decision to appease Sky.

However, the showpiece final should not be ridden on a soaking wet track. Last year it was badly affected and really tomorrow has a much better forecast than today.
