guitar_art
If you read my post you will see that it was the Brummie supporters I was talking about so you can (very carefully as its awfully high) get down from your carefully constructed high horse. Interestingly in an interview with Alan Phillips on The Speedway Tavern Alan Phillips was talking about the good relationship he has with Horton. When I put it to him that the consensus of opinion on the internet was that he wasn't talking to Birmingham he laughed it off. There is a podcast of the interview somewhere I will find the link when I have the time. In the meen time The 'Speedway Tavern' Will air tonight at 7:45. Starman2006
Those are the sort of "fans" a team don't need! I was at Wimborne Road on Monday and will be at Perry Barr next Monday - whatever the overall result, they're my team, they got to the final and I'm immensely proud of them Good, and I hope your fans follow your lead. You've done well this year, and I hope your fans do support it. Are you going on club bus Starry. Coaches my little rosebud Coaches. Something Coventry don't know much about, Give him the crossword from the Beano, should keep him quiet for a couple of hours. Give me the beano anyday compared to a National paper... LisaColette
A few cocky Poole fans on here As the saying goes "pride comes before a fall". While I don't think it will happen and Poole will win - a bit of humility goes a long way - just saying!! I know! I don't like it! Makes me feel nervous.. Hope you said the same thing to Swindon fans last year and at the start of the season! Lol! And after the SF 1st leg....
richsimpson
A court hearing? Really? Or would tribunal/disciplinary hearing be nearer the mark? Yes the rule book stipulates an SCB court. Imagine how bent that is going to be! Yep the SCB do indeed have a court......................... Looks about right!

Andrew C
Sorry to say that I feel the final is over (pretty much from Heat 1). Although, part of me hopes that Poole do win as I promised to run round the house naked if Birmingham made the comeback (yes drink was taken). Trees
Am I being naïve… but am I the only one getting the feeling that Play-Off success is manufactured and manipulated. Poole, albeit because of injury, have made so many changes this year… their line-up resembled a side pieced together for a benefit or testimonial meeting compared to the Brummies, an honest enough septet but really, a bit green around the gills and who played by the rules throughout the campaign, topped the table to lead the qualifiers, and yet have been found out for being too honest. It is a bit like a wrestling match, the underdog has the upper hand throughout before the main contender, with spinach in hand, rips open it lid and throws it down his gullet, gaining strength, and, by jolly, just at the right time. It is like that scene from the old black and white movie, the damsel tied to the track, the train approaching and the villain laughing. We know, it’s either a case of all blood and whatever or the damsel escapes. Poole were always going to come out on top, and I found the celebrations a bit over the top by their officials. There was – and will be – no other outcome but another Poole triumph. I don’t dislike Poole, they play by the rules (mostly) and deserve all their success and reputation as a leading – the leading – club in speedway. They don’t sit by idly when a top guy like Holder gets taken out, they act on it and succeed where others fail… this time Hancock’s return to British speedway. Is it that Poole tried to hard and gave him what he wanted, or others whinged and said he didn’t want to return?Well done Poole; commiserations, Birmingham. I can remember reading somewhere that this was Matt's plan, to come on strong towards the end of the season, seems to me he did his level best to win at all costs at all times this season not just at the end though :-S

IF, that is the case you may not have a drying wind but if you leave the track till dinnertime put down several, bags of Sawdust hoe in and it will dry.. Even better if they can cover just the bends.. IF, the forcast is right Im sure there curator will have it sorted..
