SCOTLAND1314
undoubted talent??.... He's shown no talent at all when I've seen him lol. Let's hope he gives you cause to change that impression.
MD
Sedgman is either a potential master stroke or reason for a stroke. In a strong team he will do well when there is no pressure on him. An interesting season ahead! Edited December 6, 2013 by MD
Willowman
You are going to have to learn his name though! Sedg - no E - men (plural of man). Hardly Graj - cz - onek but still causes problems!
rocketrod
very shrewd signing.he took a year off to take stock of his career and his life.he knows this is his last chance.he is fully aware of his mistakes at Plymouth and redcar, though redcar didn't exactly cover themselves in glory behind the scenes with him.but that's in the past and so a fresh start is what he wanted and got and hopefully Justin will fullfill his undoubted potential...
george.m
Interesting signing. Edinburgh tend to get more right than wrong and have certainly got the best out of quite a few similar type signings in the past.
mc1874
Justin is a left field signing, but he can push that average up and he comes in on a handy average. I'm assuming max is a must. It will be interesting who fills the next two berths
Ben91
A gamble but could really work for the Monarchs. If Fricke and Sneddon are the next two then Edinburgh have 5.23 to use filling the last spot and ensuring Sedmen starts at reserve to boot. Doing a good job team building around Cook's average. gibby
So we have 16.56 left for the remaining 3 riders, if tabaka is not fit how about: Fricke -5.80 North - 6.55 Lykke - 4.04 Total 16.39 Would mean Lykke and sedgmen would be battling for the main body/reserve position in the team and both riders are more capable than their averages suggest Edited December 7, 2013 by gibby

Dekker
JS is certainly a gamble going on his 2012, but if the lad comes close to what ppl predicted for him 3 or 4 years ago it's a steal.
Mr Blobby
We could go down the route of a fresh face who comes in on a 5.00 point average for example somone like aaron fox There is a good chance Max will be back again in 2014 to so that would leave us 5.76 for a final rider which would put Justin at reserve for the start of the season

cyclone
As observed by others, Sedgemen is a risky signing having recorded various scores between zero & 16 in the UK in 2012. Assuming that Fricke will be back, it means either Sneddon or Tabaka cannot be accommodated, with Jozsef likely to be the unlucky one, given the fitness doubts for 2014 after his horrific crash. Whoever the final trio are, it looks likely Monarchs will not have a recognised third heat leader at the start and this means they will not be considered as one of the "on paper" title challengers for 2014.
Ben91
I think I'm wasting my time! Well mine was clearly a typo, Sedmen sounds like something used to sedate people.

I think assuming max is back there is a chance Derek and Jo could both miss out. The promotion may choose to retain Claus that's not beyond the realms

wjm
If Edinburgh can get the Sedgman who first rode for Birmingham (which wouldn't be a surprise) he will turn out to be an excellent signing. It isn't a massive shock riders didn't give Plymouth their full commitment at the time he was there. Edited December 8, 2013 by wjm
