Recommended Posts

Starting to look forward to the 2014 season now,so thought i'd pop ma heid roond the door and say hi to all..have i missed much? :P I hate the close season as those who know me will attest lol,but now we have less than 8 weeks to go..yay :t: I did pop in and have a wee look at some of bsfs winter episodes, but must admit some of the so-called 'banter' from the usual suspects along the M8 and other poor souls from further afield (you all know who you are  ) was pishpoor tbh, like the Tiggers team for 2014 (only joking folks don't get out yir prams). With those ex Monarchs on board you must and will do better surely..2nd bottom is yours for the taking :D No,but seriously, here's hoping for a great season for the Monarchs,Scottish speedway, and indeed speedway in general..see you at tapes up :drink:

Hope your not talking about Moi there i have been trying to keep the minions as George would say entertained and some spat the dummy but now you are back in circulation i will leave keeping them in check to you especially Mr B he really needs to be brought back into line the upstart that he is, doesn't even want to come to Ashfield on a Sunday as errand boy, bar duties, etc no respect for his elders that young troublemaker.

IMO the riders to watch this season will be Sam Masters & Justin Sedgeman both are very hungry after a season on the side lines and this can only help young Fricke to push his way past the competition and shine. I wish all of the Edinburgh team a safe and rewarding 2014 campaign

Riding well at the moment , hopefully as he builds up he can start to get out into the dirt more.

Chopper

For one so young he rides with his head ,he is going places IMO.superb style and control,I saw him on his first ride round Berwick in 2012 and you would have though he had practiced there for years.

Think last year was just max settling in, think he will put at least 2 points onto his average this season.

The second season is usually when Aussies click if they're going to be decent , unless you're Darcy Ward

Joe Screen also did it. In the current case, it isn't Craig but a group of Belle Vue and Edinburgh fans, and also it is specifically for serious damage incurred riding in a charity meeting, when it wasn't his own fault! If ever a case was justified, it is this one.

P & P today was cold to say the least. good turn out as well. track looked in good shape with the air fence in place. good to see some speedway again though

mr sneddon looked one of the faster riders on show today which was very suprising but he has got the engine that tabaka used last seasoon which might explain it.

Aaron fox looked like okay as well once he got used to the track. but riders always look good when there by themselves it's when there are 3 other riders next ot them when you can make a real judement.

Derek didn't come out on that engine due to a small problem in the pits which will be OK for Friday.
