Edinburgh 2014

Recommended Posts

It doesn't take to much of an increase from each rider and the points total soon goes up if each rider finished on something roughly like this, Cook 10.60, Masters 8.10, Fricke 6.15, Sneddon 5.80, Sedgmen 5.70, Fox 4.50 and Worrall 4.70 = 45.55 that would be a higher total than we finished last season with, and I don't think I've been overly optimistic with those figures. Personally I'm happy enough with the team bring on 2014.

I think Fricke will be a star man this season,The thing I see about this Edinburgh Team is they have lost of home track specialists over the last couple of seasons which won't help but It would be foolish too dismiss them.

Yours though is more realistic

Yeah sorry, I didn't actually mean to quote your post, it was more my own thoughts on the team.

Aaron Fox is an exciting rider but will need to adapt to a totally different type of racing. I expect he'll hold his average with a spell at reserve. Sedgmen should be a trump card & Masters will want to kick on after last year.

Exciting team and a lot of potential.

I must say the passions and rivalry from both Monarchs and Tigers fans on here is awesome - reminds me of Wolves Cradley and something quite special that the sport sometimes lacks these days. A Glasgow representative actually did make a tentative reach regarding Aaron Fox but nothing was pursued as the finer details were already being worked out with the Monarchs. That said over the years work between Team USA and both clubs will hopefully lead to more ScotYanks in the years to come. I'm hoping to fit in a visit early in the season and it would be nice to see all 3 tracks.

I think we are all saying the same, we are optimistic for the new season........I'll watch out for you Mr blobby on the 3rd bend, and we can keep the banter going

Now that should be Hilarious let me know when this is happening and i will pop along no interest in the speedway just to have an earwig at this conversation oh the banter, :D

Interesting team.

Fricke is an undoubted talent who can (and IMO will) become a third heat leader.

Sedgemen will be the surprise package of the season at Edinburgh.

The biggest problem will be replacing the job Wethers and then Tabaka have done in recent years. I would doubt many 6/7 ish point average riders have won the number of crunch races either of they two have in recent years.

Banter! what banter

Now now Mr B one day when you get bigger you will develop a sense off humour and you will then learn that supporting Edinburgh wasn't the brightest thing you had done see the error off your way's and join the ranks off the tiggeratti only if we let you off course you will have to pass the Buckfast challenge off course and give me & George your weekly pocket money but I'm sure it will be worth it in return we shall completely ignore you on a weekly basis except when we want someone (You) to run to the shop for us sound fair.

How can you be serious after the team announcement last night :D .

Wait until after the first month, and see how the new lads have started

I'm feeling positive about the team

Cookie can up his average by say. 0.50 ish

Max will up his by 1.50 at least

Derek is Derek!! But a good captain

Aaron up by 5 at home overal 1.5

Sam again could be about 1.5/2.00

Steve up by possibly 3.00

Juston should be about 1.00/1.50 at least

So yep could be good.....in my opinion

Just highlighting this brother stay off the wine gum's when your sniffing glue m8 as it leaves you open to ridicule but ii'l watch your back.

God this page is getting a bit tiresome. Filled up with weegie trolls fishing for a bite. I suppose the only way is up after last year. So you believe you will come to Armadale an run all over us next season; ok then. With the exception of your league winning campaign when has that ever happened? I can count numerous times monarchs have come west and spanked you. Whats the phrase Glasgow tigers forever in our shadow.

Try and get the page back to speedway..
