Gazc
and that is relevant to me or the discussion how? I didnt even know facebook pages needed e-mails to register, ISP or otherwise Don't you just love how they turn thing's around from registering with there forum and then it turns full circle back to our Facebook page you couldn't make it up. chucks
not sure I understand how registering with a non ISP address causes spam. Either way, it is censorship and control and limits who can join but thats their choice been awaiting on a feedback on its their choice like above. ive checked the monarche chatline. in the year 2012 only32 signed up 8 only register 0 replys also 8 replyed only 1 time in the year 2013 25 signed up16 register 0 replys 5 only replyed 1 time .when you turn up at the dale they dont ask you if your a member when they put the begging bowl out i.e club skint rider injury fund. rider full fund. 50/50 raffle.i dont know who this midnight lady is but thats replyed nearly 13k as ive said its run like a cosed shop ,secret society. b.t.w . i am no longer wanting to join your site

I was only trying to be reasoned! I agree with you that its a closed shop but its not an official site (or is it?), afaik its one set up by Edinburgh fans and all I meant is that it is therefore their choice how they run it. as gazc says, I'm sure he, Paulco, Bill and the usual suspects would make you very welcome at Ashfield! Look Lioness was talking about the Chatzone being a closed shop and I was pointing out that the Glasgow Facebook took it upon theirselves to block every member because they didn't like what was being said by either Edinburgh or Glasgow fans, hardly " turning things round"

Dekker
Why are hotmail , yahoo and gmail not allowed ? Not east coast snobbery surely Faked emails that were used by spammers. ISP email addies don't suffer the same. can see both sides here. Too many people use easy to get accounts like hotmail to stir up trouble so presumably the chatzone decided to reject them to limit hassle. on the other side though a lot of people - myself included - would NOT use their ISP address these days for message boards and forums as these tend to be the things most insecure and easily 'spammed'. My ISP e-mail address only goes to trusted sources nowadays and that doesnt include message boards. It does mean that it is 'select' and you cant claim its not but its their board, their rules and the old addage is if you dont like it.... Understand that have a few ppl that have had their email addies changed after registering. Chatzone always is quiet during off season as are most seedway sites seeing as teams were declared early this year, but between us n Facebook plenty of monarchs chat floating around. More people use the facebook page than the chatzone these days anyway! Not a chance! Indeed... Was only a matter of time before the Chatzone was deserted for FB. Pity really... I like reading about the team I support rather than how some sad git de-fluffs his belly button 6 times a day whilst sadly reaching level 394 of Candy Crush rubbish, alone waiting for his Mum to call him for tea... been awaiting on a feedback on its their choice like above. ive checked the monarche chatline. in the year 2012 only32 signed up 8 only register 0 replys also 8 replyed only 1 time in the year 2013 25 signed up16 register 0 replys 5 only replyed 1 time .when you turn up at the dale they dont ask you if your a member when they put the begging bowl out i.e club skint rider injury fund. rider full fund. 50/50 raffle.i dont know who this midnight lady is but thats replyed nearly 13k as ive said its run like a cosed shop ,secret society. b.t.w . i am no longer wanting to join your site Secret society? Closed shop? What rubbish... There is more than one moderator on the CZ who are all consulted prior to banning someone or refusing entry.... To my knowledge, that hasn't happened recently. Dekker has explained the reason why people can't access the CZ. Simple issues with protecting the Tech side of the Chatzone. Why don't you contact people directly rather than publically lambasting them even when you've been told the reasons?
