Edinburgh 2014

Recommended Posts

Please bye bye to Vissing, Sneddon and Davey.

Top end strength worked for Somerset so...

Craig Cook 10.52

Kevin Wolbert 8.40

Sam Masters 7.43

Max Fricke 5.80

Adam Ellis 4.25

L. Carr/J. Bates 3.00

Steve Worrall 3.00

Total 42.40

The top 4 to score 40+ most meetings and the three rising stars to chip in with 10 or so.

Could work?

In total fairness, ultimately it was a change at the bottom end of the team that won them the league and Cup... The introduction of a reserve scoring 10pts each meeting swung the tide in their favour...

I like the look of the Cook/Vissing/Masters/Fricke/Sneddon/Worrall/Davey team should Jozsef not be fit for 2014... Vissing will only go one way and will master Armadale. There's more than enough support in there until he finally gets round the place and with an injury free season now behind him and possible continuity, he could be an ideal signing on that average...

Long tracking and Glasgow doesn't go IMO

Unless Pijper was given a wild card for the 2014 World Long Track Finals, he will not be involved as he did not enter the qualification round for the remaining Final slots for 2014 which was run at the end of 2013 season.

My mistake ,I though he finished high enough for a place next year. Edited by Fromafar

1. Craig Cook (best rider in the league)

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

7. Steve Worrall (steal on 3points)

Add Sam Masters and Max Fricke; think they both have to be shoe ins.

Possibilities: Derek brings to much in terms of leadership not to be in. I am open with the the next two; will be a good title challenging side on paper

Bearing in mind half our team were posted missing for the bulk of 2013, TP would be most welcome to return, Long Track or not.

Only half MD? I estimated about 78% ;) Being serious though, looking for Glasgow have a much stronger line up next year - we need good rivalry!
