Glasgow 2014

Love the fact when Glasgow fans talk about getting riders they always want ones who can ride Armadale well. Forget Ashfield and the other tracks in the league just aslong as they ride Armadale well :).

Obsession :)

More like embarrassment. Usually by ht4 we are a double figure score behind and struggle to reach 30 by the end. It would be nice just for once to be competitive at Edinburgh, even up to ht10 would do.

However your point is right, home form first!

Wasn't wee Joe, the only rider you had who's average increased, while all others decreased? Sounds strange to hear people saying he wasn't great when he was one of the higher point scores for Tigers most of the season away from home and your youngest rider? Strange thinking??

I am saddened that Theo has left us as he was Mr dependable but heigh ho hes gone now.

i wish him all the best on his return and hopefully he will come back to us in 2015 on a lower average

Agreed to an extent he was Mr. Dependable at home - though some heat 15's found him wanting... However, Away from home at a lot of tracks I saw him, he was poor and never gave the back-up that the top of the team really needed...

A move away was inevitable really but good luck to him in his "new" surroundings!

With these three signings on board, how about the following for a team that would do well at home and give a good account of themselves at the Dale?

Magnus Karlsson 8.40

Theo Pijper 7.70

Matty Wethers 6.79

Rusty Harrison 6.63

Henning Bager 5.30

Anders Thomsen 4.11

Joey Ringwood 3.56

42.49

I know some folks are against Bager returning but if Anders improves as expected, then Henning would drop to become a very effective reserve. That's if he doesn't improve on last year of course, which he could well do.

Dosen't look too bad but i would change Wethers for Vissing and Ringwood with a 3 pointer

As long as the team competes at the dale! typical tiggers mentality

I see where you're coming from but I honestly think higher scoring reserves are key to better team performances. Too often we've been let down in this department.

For your benefit as well as ours. Or do you enjoy drubbings as opposed to close racing?

Why so concerned with winning at the dale? Its only one track.

Yes had some bad teams but also some great teams. I like tigers but only team I know so concerned about beating closest rivals.

Finish bottom of the league but win at the dale? Would that be a good season? (Think i know the answer :drink: )

your correct Blooby, it seems to be all about doing well at the Dale.............what about the other 8 tracks???. no point winning at us, that would only give them 2 points, and if they were to win all their home matches, even with 3 points, plus to 2 at the dale..........44 points would not get you in the play offs this year.........but........they can dream

Doubt we could afford Magnus Karlson never mind fly him and Anders in every weekend. Next signing is a crucial one, as to whether we get a rider with average above 8 to go at No1 instead of Pijper or go with high averaged reserves.
