Not very realistic . Dakota North only came to us when his Polish season finished and i would assume he would want to return there . Lawson seems in with the bricks at Workington , and will probably stay there .

Bager again ???????????? no thanks , Henry too injury prone and Fisher would in all likelihood end up 30 miles along the M8 if he was dropping down .

Anders Thomsen and Joey Ringwood would be two ideal reserves and we could go from there .

Those two would make decent starting reserves, its the rest especially recruiting a new No1 that will be the challenge.

Joe Jacobs needs to find a home track he is suited to. Henning has been a massive let down this year and shouldn't be back. Hard to come up with 5 riders names as replacements though.

its looking like leicester are elite lge bound next year so there will be some riders there looking for a team spot.probably nemo, doolan nielsen, graversen, edberg and karlsson some good riders there who ride your place well.

Doolan would certainly be gettable . Whether Karlsson would be doing British speedway next year is open to question . But Doolan and Neiminen are both ex-Tigers and either would be welcome

It`ll be interesting to see just where Glasgow go with team building this winter,Screen & Grieves retiring, and one or two of this years team with question marks hanging over them. Its quite possible that they will track 5 or 6 new riders in 2014.

Certainly looks handy with the except of Bager.

Wonder if we could afford it!

I think this thread might be better titled: Glasgow 2014?

There really has to be a huge question-mark over the Tigers continuing unless Alun Biggurt and Gordon Pairman have vast amounts of disposable income to pour into the black hole that is PL speedway at Ashfield.

A National League team might, however, attract not far off the same level of support at about 25% of the outlay.

Discuss?

Very interesting theory, Lulu. I understand this was a suggestion made to the new owner a year ago by a couple of wise old owls, but for whatever reason it was decided to go forward in the Premier League. Which didn't go too well.

We got a taste of National League this year with the team we started off with.

National League? A very big no thanks. Not going to do a 90 mile round trip to watch that.
