This is a brand new book covering in great detail the activities of Stoke Potters and Spitfires predominantly in the third tier of British Speedway but with a background history of the origins of the club and their season by season activities of earlier years. The book has been printed and published by Gemini Publications and is in the same format as the highly successful book about the Mildenhall Fen Tigers published a few months ago.

 

The book comprises almost 200 pages, is A4, comb bound with laminated covers and forms a part of a complete library of thirteen books by the same author which offers a comprehensive history of this level of speedway since it returned in 1994. There are many coloured photographs mainly unpublished previously most taken by the Author who plans to make low cost seasonal updates available to buyers if required so that their book remains up to date. Each season is covered with a narrative summary, complete statistics, match results and the book has an A-Z career record of all riders representing the club at this level.

 

Stoke is an interesting Speedway Club that battles for survival in an area of hard working and vociferous supporters. The Author has been Stoke's manager since 2010 and claims to have seen more third tier speedway than anyone having managed teams at Boston and Scunthorpe and also having been part of the Mildenhall set up prior to that.
