Dickie Head
Sorry if this has been mentioned before but as a former GP rider would he not come in on an 8.00 average or has that rule been amended.

That was for a 3 year period and Artem failed in the GP series

You need to be more specific. Ummma stint with Poole. Well that narrows it down apart from Holder and Ward that's all anybody ever does
Big Al
Sorry if this has been mentioned before but as a former GP rider would he not come in on an 8.00 average or has that rule been amended. From the current SCB rules, it looks as if the management committee decide on an assessed average based on a rider's other pro league performances. As Laguta averaged almost 8 last season in Poland, it's not far fetched to think that's what he'll be assessed at if he joins Leicester. But the BSPA for some odd reason round down, not up!
Big Al
Of course this whole Laguta business could be a very large red herring! Looks as if he'd need a Tier 5 Visa, same as Jason Doyle, which we know dragged-on for ages until it was granted and he had to undergo loads of biometrics. Unless he's already started off the application process but that would have implications in terms of the sponsoring employer. Sayfutdinov did the smart thing a few years ago by gaining Polish citizenship which of course avoids all of that hassle - so who knows - maybe Laguta is doing likewise! Also is the current political climate making it difficult for Russian nationals to get UK visa's - or is our government all bark and no bite, as with many other matters? If, aas seems likely, Laguta came into the team on an 8 average, Leicester would have to let another rider go, either Mads or Stead. I'm getting more sceptical by the day about this saga! justathought
It does seem pretty complicated and I guess the real answer is nobody, except those involved, really know what is happening. If they can pull it off it would give Leicester a real fighting chance of making the top four .
CaptainAudi
Its 2 signings 1 top end rider and a rider who had a stint at Poole couple seasons back. Sam Masters? He said he was hoping on getting an EL place at some point this season and I'm sure he had a stint with Poole a few seasons back. Edit: just seen he is guesting for the lions at Swindon on Thursday night. Maybe a sign, maybe not, as I'm sure he would have been announced by now. flagrag
Sam Masters was all set to join Leicester a couple of weeks ago before Lasse signed but is unable to double up due to a unknown change in visa regulations which means can not change his secondary employer. This change also rules out Rohan Tungate as well

Tell your number 1 employer to get stuffed so you can earn less for more meetings in the UK!
