TMW
Any more rumours seeping out of Leicester? There were one or two circulating at Poole this evening - and not about any specific riders?!! Isn't it customary on here to just fill in the gaps yourself if there are any?
Big Al
DH in The Leicester Mercury. I can say with some confidence we are also lining up an exciting long-term replacement for Peter Ljung and have also agreed terms with a rider to act as short-term cover for Tom Perry. I believe the rider in question has the ability to score heavily from the fast-track reserve berth and an announcement will be made shortly as to who that is. That just leaves the situation regarding Hougaard, and we are awaiting confirmation as to his possible return date to the team. Has to be Charles Wright - cant think of anybody else who'd be available and fit that description?

Can't be him he's above Perry in draft list,it has to be someone below, maybe Ollie Greenwood i know he's on the list to be used as guest only, but if it's a short -term deal perhaps he might do it, he certainly looked good when Peterborough were at BP earlier in the season
flagrag
As per the latest Fast track rules I thought Charles Wright, Olli Greenwood and Josh Bates can only be used as guests. Maybe there has been a change and another rider is allowed to be added to the list ? As a young British rider who rode elite league last year has been trying to become part of fast track scheme to help get his form back after injury.

Nobblytriers
Lions website says Lasse Bjerre back to replace Ljung. Good news! Thought he looked good at the U21 round last week and has been going well elsewhere. Any chance of Karlsson or Nemo to fill the other spot? screm
PETERBOROUGH have given Danish ace Lasse Bjerre permission to race in the Elite League.Bjerre has clinched a return to former club Leicester. The 20 year-old raced for the Lions in the last two seasons and booked his place in the World Under 21 Final with a fine performance at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium last Saturday.'TC Harrison' Panthers supremo Mick Horton reckons the move will be a benefit to everyone involved.Horton said: "I had a call from Leicester asking for my permission to allow them to speak to Lasse - and I gave it immediately."Lasse has been in terrific form so far this season and there is no doubt in my mind that he can be successful in the Elite League."He is already a proven performer at Leicester and this move should work out well for Lasse and both clubs."Panthers will take priority in the event of a fixture clash with Leicester.Bjerre lines up for Panthers in their Premier League clash at Ipswich tonight. stevethelion
I bet thats got the Leicester fans really excited! Nothing against Lasse, who's always good to watch & gives 100%, but when Hemsley said the rider would be " an exciting long -term replacement for Peter Ljung" , i thought it sounded like he was going to sign a young prospect who would become an asset of the club & be there for the future, not someone who's an asset of another club. Phil The Ace
Hougaard replacement looks to be a real coup if Leicester pull it off. Good luck to them
Teromaafan
So who is Hougaard's replacement?
flagrag
Yes if the rider in question does definitely come then it will be a coup for Leicester and Britisb Speedway. It may even mean they get their first Sky fixture as well

SCB
Surely theres nobody out there on a 7 point average who could be considered good for British Speedway?! Only possible rider I can think would be a real coup on a 7ish average is Kolodziej.
Big Al
Ljung + Hougaard out, Bjerre in, would leave 7.65 available i think
