LeicesterLion39
On the UKBA site it seems that the tier 5 visa states that you have to work for one employer. The tier 2 doesn't state that. Which begs the question - will Jason Doyle be allowed to ride as a guest on a tier 5 visa? In response too Jason riding as a guest then no he wont be allowed too OR ride in any open meetings.

I don't believe so - also unsure as to whether a tier 5 will allow 'Multi Entry' - if not he wouldn't be able to leave the UK to race in Poland/Sweden etc

A ORLOV
In response too Jason riding as a guest then no he wont be allowed too OR ride in any open meetings. What about the World Cup, or is foreign team event a different visa situation?

SteveLyric2
What about the World Cup, or is foreign team event a different visa situation? He may not be able to appear for Oz in the UK!? Awaiting clarification!! No guest bookings, no individual meetings - just Leicester EL meetings!!
robert72
It's time the Uk Border Agency got their act together , the way things are going and if speedway in the uk is to continue , We will end up having to develop home grown riders Imagine that !! the British Elite League and Premier league full of British riders . it's a shame that some of the effort and interest by promotions and supporters in ensuring employment for a foreign rider , cannot be chanelled into ensuring some British prospects have a future in the sport . I'm sure we all agree that point , Its a shame this country was not tougher 30 years ago when letting in so many overseas riders, Now we can't even fill a world class British pairs team let alone a 5 man World Cup team. Steve0
He may not be able to appear for Oz in the UK!? Awaiting clarification!! No guest bookings, no individual meetings - just Leicester EL meetings!! Let that be a lesson for him! Hopefully he will get additional rides in Europe - with him being the Aussie #2 Having said that - I'm sure he would have been the Swindon line-up if he had chosen just to ride EL. Just thought though - his Polish earning potential will be hampered/scuppered riding for a Saturday EL track! With so few meetings available in the UK let's praise the good lord above that he's riding for a promotion that everybody knows is famous for paying their riders and paying them on time... Also nailed-on for EL playoffs, so should be a bit more earnings there - unlike Swindon who have noo chance
Gemini
Don't know but Colonel has changed his name a few times this week! Can't blame him changing his name from 'Poole' to 'Colonel' though surely? He must have realised it was a pretty daft idea.

Fromafar
Have they reinststed the play offs between bottom el and top pl sides?Maybe the new race format includes handicapping riders over an 8pt av 15mtrs ,that should give the Lions a chance.!!
