semion
I thought Mildenhall were the ones that'll be getting him Honie, I think his father is quoted in the article saying the boy wants to ride for The Young Stars when he turns 15. Whitmore’s father Jason said: “I wouldn’t like to say how far he could go but I know he would firstly love to ride for his hometown side (Young Stars) in the National League when he turns 15. Bagpuss
Mildenhall waving their chequebook around may alter that, but hopefully he will ride for the Young Stars and then the Stars once heis old enough.
semion
Thats True Baggy, Then again Robert Lambert stuck with the Stars, while Connor Mountain went the other way. I guess its if riders look at just the short term, or more toward the medium/long term.

kelvinht
If the Stars do finish top, who do we choose in the semi's? Swindon are strong all the way through and ride the NA well, we seem to be pants at Coventry, and Poole beat us at home. So - I'd be tempted to go with Coventry and hope we can beat them well enough at home to be ok with small loss at Brandon. The other option is Poole now they are minus Darcy, but could do with knowing if / when Darcy will be back before making a decision - if no Darcy, go for Poole, but if Darcy is allowed back, think it would have to be Coventry. stevebrum
I cant see the Stars wanting either Swindon or the Bees. Poole i reckon.
Star Lady
Coventry all the way. Lynn cannot be that bad at Brandon twice . No one knows if or when Darcy might be back and Poole with Darcy are a lot more dangerous than Poole without him. Swindon....can't stand the place so I'm hoping Poole thrash the backside off them in the semis Will probably come down to finances. Poole/Swindon is likely to get a bigger crowd than Poole vs Lynn or Coventry and Lynn/Coventry will get a bigger crowd than Lynn vs Poole or Swindon in the semis. Fans will travel for the final whoever it is against so can see promoters going for the bigger pay day semi to be honest.
g13webb
I cant imagine Darcy will be back this year, The FIA aren't known for having prompt disciplinary meetings . so which case I can only assume Poole will be Ward less in the Play-offs. Swindon are the form team, and will rightfully start as favourites . Coventry have also hit a good vane of form, so common sense would tells me to let them two scrap it out for a place in the final. Having the choice of opponents gives the Lynn the opportunity to plan both meetings. Not only because of Darcy, but Poole, like us, are struggling with other injuries too, and feel, if there is a good time to meet them, then it has to be now. So my choice would be Semi 1:- Poole Vs Kings Lynn, Semi 2-: Coventry Vs Swindon... Hopefully the final will be Lynn Vs Coventry. I have nothing against Swindon, just that I feel we stand a better chance of beating the Bees.

tellboy
Play-offs could be over before they have began if Bjerre has got injured tonight.Hoping he has just bruised himself tonight but it did look a nasty incident.Just as he was getting back to what we know Kenny can do. So possibly the best team of the year gets the injuries at the wrong time and could lose everything. Having said that if Woffy gets himself fit he could guest for Kenny if he is not fit. Champion2010
Why on earth Would KL pick Poole they fly around Kl ...it's a no brainer they are going to pick Cov who they have crushed at Home . Bees were missing Howarth and had to use a NL guest for Hans and MJJ on their last visit so would be great to see Bees race there with a full team. We beat King's Lynn with a 5 man team so hoping King's Lynn do pick Coventry and Poole have Swindon. Would love a Coventry Vs Poole final again
SCB
KL need to pick Cov and hope Swindon see of Poole. While Coventry need KL to pick them and hope Poole see off Swindon. The other option is Lynn/Swindon and Poole/Cov
Bagpuss
Bjerre usually takes weeks to get his confidence back after a big off.....if we weren't already screwed we probably are now.
