King's Lynn Stars 2014

Recommended Posts

Looking a little further forward now, to our trip to the seaside on Saturday July 7, am I correct in thinking that we'll be without Nicklas Porsing as he's on Danish WC U21 duty? If so, would that mean that the Eagles will be without Mikkel Michelsen?

It would be a shame for Nicklas to miss out on riding at such a 'unique' track, as I don't think he had the best of times there last season.

and yet again you make yourself look like the prat we know you are. Best rider in pl by a mile and a solid third heat leader at el level who doesnt go well on the big tracks. your lack of knowledge is astounding

Danny King...Even if he wasn't better than Cook he is not a mile behind him. Lets say 300 yards :t:

I would like to say how impressed I am with young Robert Lambert . I have been amazed just how well he has done coming straight in to the main body of the team. I think at his age he is as good as Ward was, if not better, Now that is the highest appraisal !

A tough week ahead of the Stars in their quest to continue the winning start to this season. First there is Belle Vue at home on Wednesday. As always teams come here and go well, Zager and Nicholls show a liking for the NA and can be assured to score well. Feel confident of a win but it won't be one sided.

Friday the Stars travel to Lakeside again. After the surprise win last time, feeling must be high to repeat that performance. If our top 3 come to the party, then I'm sure we can score some points.

Next Monday the Stars travel to Wolves again, for a chance to revenge the only defeat so far this year. Having travelled there to watch and since attained the video, I am of the belief fortunes favoured the Wolves that night, and probably another night, we could have easily come away with a different result. Should be a close call but we are more than capable of coming away with the spoils..... Obviously , one, not to be missed. ;)

Away points are fairly irrelevant now as we just need to keep the home points ticking over to make the play-offs. However, the form we are in I wouldn't bet against us turning Lakeside over again....and would be pretty cool if we did... Shame we haven't got Kenny riding as I thought he road well with plenty of fight and speed last night in the GP - best I've seen him ride since he picked up his collar bone injury earlier in the season.

Is there anyone available to replace KB, or will we go with R/R ? Still we have Belle Vue to worry about first. Palm Toft is good for a few points based on his last performance at Lynn. Nicholls Zager, Worrell and Cook should all score well.

Think the unbeaten run will come to an end at Lakeside. No way can I see a win twice in 1 season round there

You say that every meeting.......... have faith...... :approve:

Of cause away points are still relevant. We want to carry on with our form, we want to continue to stand proud at the top of the league, we want our confidence to increase.. We want to have first choice of opponents in the Play-offs. We want to continue in the belief that we can win all matches.

Even you, are now thinking we can win at places like Lakeside. Long may it continue.

Soon all the Lynn Posters will be thinking that way.......

Don't count your chickens yet, heat 9 at Newcastle, COULD change your season a little bit with Kerr possibly suffering a shoulder/collarbone injury. Fingers crossed he is alright though.

Is exactly the reason I haven't been shouting from the roof tops like others. Absolutely right, if Kerr is out for a substantial amount of time it could turn our season on it's head.

Best wishes to LK and hopefully it isn't as bad as it sounds

Gutted for Lewis on the eve of his British Final debut. Hopefully he'll be back fit and as good as new for the Play Offs, and in the mean time we have the choice of every FTR to guest so plenty of options.

The law of averages say, when riders are performing as often as the riders of today are, there are bound to be injuries , mishaps and problems. But its the nature of the game and applies to all the teams. Its just that I would rather approach life with a positive attitude than of someone who is always thinking of what could go wrong..

Obviously Lewis Kerr is of paramount importance to any success we achieve, and god forbid, if he were to be out long term, he can still take a lot of pride for what he has already achieved this year. Here's hoping the injury is not as bad as first thought and you get back soon. Your absence will be sorely missed.........

Wishing you a speedy recovery.............
