g13webb
Gotcha thanks for that. Be interesting to see who Rob comes up with for 2/3 replacements. Or maybe we will go with R/R for KB again I hope not !! Kenneth and Lambert are definitely missing and possibly Rose as well. Missing 2 good riders limits the use of cover using R/R. Plus Rose is a massive loss because his replacement are so substandard compared to him. Get next week out the way and hopefully we'll get back to a full team again. semion
I agree, but Rob struggled to find a replacement for the last away meet, will it prove any easier this time. Rose missing is another blow as Mallet is not going to score anything like Rose. Still the League is a marathon not a sprint. Would Ritchie Worrall fit for Lambert ? Daniel Smith
Guests from the EL for Robert are gonna be tough and will have to wait for the new 1st June edition of the averages. From the PL it's Stuart Robson, Kevin Doolan, Kevin Wolbert or Nicolai Klindt for me Don't see why BJERRE rode in Poland yesterday.Bjerre is missing for our trip to Leicester due to GP qualifier at Berwick and Lambert is also missing due World Team u21's on the same day. That's the discussion Edited May 26, 2014 by screamer

pointsmeanplayoffs
If we can book Cookie to guest for Bjerre we'll be sorted! Is he in the SGP Q too though? Cannot find details online.

LagutaRacingFan
Cookie is good at PL level. He is a PL level rider.
Gavan
Cookie is good at PL level. He is a PL level rider. and yet again you make yourself look like the prat we know you are. Best rider in pl by a mile and a solid third heat leader at el level who doesnt go well on the big tracks. your lack of knowledge is astounding

Best rider in pl by a mile and a solid third heat leader at el level who doesnt go well on the big tracks. your lack of knowledge is astounding The confusing thing about it is that he is brilliant around the big PL tracks (Worky, Sheffield and Berwick in particular) but can't seem to generate any power to pass on the big EL tracks. He does seem too eager to gate in the EL aswell, which earns his 'gating tart' tag. In the PL he is a quick gater, but is perfectly able to come from the back on any track. Bagpuss
I think last night is a good example of how his development is being stunned by continuing to ride PL and not broadening his horizons into Europe instead. Its a shame as I think he could have been a very useful rider for GB but he is in all likelihood going to end up missing the boat.
Haza
Cook is a one track pony he's reached his level and I'm sorry to say its PL I hope Ritchie Worrall doesn't go the same way .
SteveLyric2
Cook is a one track pony he's reached his level and I'm sorry to say its PL I hope Ritchie Worrall doesn't go the same way . Cook is a big fish in the PL which appeals to his ego, but in the EL - even a diluted EL - he is nothing more than average!
Gavan
Cook is a big fish in the PL which appeals to his ego, but in the EL - even a diluted EL - he is nothing more than average! he is on the same elite league level as riders ike Janowski and Schlein. The averages back that up. So basically he is a healf decent third keat leader. But yes 10 years ago in a good league he would struggle to hold down a second string place

Cook proved last year he is good enough for the EL. He just needs to drop the PL and get contracts abroad if he seriously wants to move forward. lynnboy
Cook needs to have a couple of years ridding bigger tracks Edinburgh and belle vue are tricky little tracks. I would not mind him at kingslynn for a year or two if his average was right

Hslf decent 3rd hl probably a fair description of cook in current form, and one of the reasons aces are struggling away is that cook, on starting average, should be one of the top 3rd hl, if not the top.
