speedy17
It is putting too much pressure on a 16 year old, he should do more time in the pl first, throwing him in the deep end like this may not be good for him in the long run. He chooses what he wants to do not the club! And as far as throwing him in the deep end, he's dicing with Smolinski and co in Germany and beating them! Warriors
It was his decision not to take a reserve berth as he did not want to except the pay restrictions so it's nothing to do with the sport ruling.
500cc
Robert Lambert has been confirmed Yeah, first rider and he isn't even eligible. Excellent news though. It was his decision not to take a reserve berth as he did not want to except the pay restrictions so it's nothing to do with the sport ruling. Also suspect he wanted to have more competition than the reserve berths are alleged to be getting. Edited December 12, 2013 by 500cc
stevehone
it's not the first rider, Kenneth Bjerre has outed it on his facebook that he's back
Bagpuss
A little suprised that Lambert isn't doing PL, although with school, EL and Sundays on the continent I guess there isn't time for everything.
500cc
it's not the first rider, Kenneth Bjerre has outed it on his facebook that he's back First rider in the 1-5 in the official KL announcement. With today's social media very little is kept underwraps. By the way you've spoilt it for me (bit like watching Match of the Day knowing the result) as Bjerre was the one position where KL could really have shocked the league with the potential alternative !!! The team that will be announced isn't just good, it is built to exploit the romoured new Heat Format to the max.

A ORLOV
With those riders now confirmed the Stars look to be a strong team for 2014. Will look forward to their visits to Swindon.

I just have the feeling this is the rider to take fast tracking to the extreme. In the UK you have to go back a long time to find a rider with this much immediate potential. If he maintains his current progression and potential I'd be surprised if he isn't in the GP series as soon as he's age eligible. I accept that it is a big prediction, but the truth is the marketability of a second elite British rider is immense. Say what you like, but the UK market for speedway is huge, and those at BSI are well aware of the importance of the British market.
liam
Very impressive team. Could be the team to beat for me
Crazy robin
The best team by a distance so far & good to see a club who've helped nurture young British talent being rewarded with the new rules.

But its the lads choice FB. What a joke ..they bring in rule to help young brits then the best prospect starts in the top 5..unreal Lambert chose not to be part of the draft, so the EL IS going to help him. Nonsense, Billy Sanders was just 16 when he first rode Div 1 for Ipswich. Talent will always shine through, especially in a watered down league..
foreverblue
Good team but alot depends on how lambert and porsing progress but their reserves are probably the best in the league so thats a plus for them.
Bagpuss
Very pleased with that team, great to have Bjerre back and of course the signing of Lambert is potentially huge. Fantastic to have three Young Stars from last season in the side. Just hope people don't expect too much from Lambert straight away, he showed in the NL last season that he has work to do to learn the smaller circuits but given time to develop both he and Niklas should be very effective in the later stages of the season. Certainly see the team getting stronger as the season progresses. Excellent top three which should be a match for any in the EL.
