King's Lynn Stars 2014

Recommended Posts

Pavlic is a strange one. Just don't see the appeal at all. Cant see what he would add , in fact it would likely be subtract from the run in!

MF no doubt trying to get Hancock and Emil re-assessed to 7 each.

In the best interest of (Poole) Speedway. :P

Could you do a swap deal, Thorrsell for Porsing for the title run in? Would he be any better?

I think Berntsson is lined up for Wolves in 2015, pretty sure I read that he was approached to ride for Wolves this season but delayed until next season.

Well then we ought to make a move for PP lol before Poole get him!

Agreed - he blew hot and cold when he was over here before if I recall (and mainly cold) and is much the same now, if the Euro rounds are anything to go by.

Simon Lambert in for Lewis Rose

With the transfer deadline gone, once the 28 days pass can Lambert just continue if Rose remains injured or will it have to be other guests???

How can rose replace lambert again?

A 28 day temporary replacement, A rule, designed to cover injured riders..... .

On the subject of changes, lots of talk about Lebedev who on a 4.5 average could come in for Porsing but that would mean we lose a whole 1pt from the averages, surely we'd have to make use of this 1pt and replace another rider also?

Doesmt work like that. Because you are over 32 point limit , any replacement must have a lower average than the rider they are replacing.

I didn't think this applied to fast track riders?

The 32 point limit doesn't include the reserves.

Lets face it, to replace Rose from the Draft list you should in theory be able to use anyone you like (using the logic applied to Poole)

Lambert at no 17 is below Rose at No 13, good to see a team using the rules as they are for a change!

I know the 32 point limit doesn't include reserves, but I was under the impression that if we signed lambert instead of rose we couldn't replace lambert with rose again because rose is higher on the draft list.

Oh i see what you mean. Like i stated earlier if Rose is fit to comeback for the Play Offs then i see no reason why the Stars cant bring him back (using the oft used `best interest of Speedway` line that helped Poole use a draft rider that WAS much higher up the list originally!).

It would be the fair thing to do.

Lets face it, Rose was declared from the off and it would be criminal if he was denied a place in the Play Offs IF he was fit to do so.

According to the article on the Lynn website it does.

But if Rose doesn't gain his fitness in time for the play-offs I would assume Lambert would be allowed to sign on for the rest of the season.
