LagutaRacingFan
And we just keep on rolling on picking up league points ........ Becomes worthless If you fail to do the business in the Play-off's.
Daniel Smith
Apparently, young Robert Lambert has become the youngest rider to score a maximum for King's Lynn in the top league beating Michael Lee's record. Could he be the youngest in the top league altogether???
semion
How old is he, 16 years and how many days ? As for comparing The Top League today to the one Lee scored his maximum, its a totally diffetent World. Still a great acheivement by Young Lambert. Trees
Someone will have to come up with the actual meeting stats to compare the 2 achievements :-) Who's got the prog, not me unfortunately!
g13webb
Not wanting to discredit Lambert in any way, His performance last night was brilliant. Whether he goes on to compare with Michael Lee only time will tell.. In Michael's first year he rode in 27 league meeting and averaged 7.43. scoring 1 full and 2 paid maximums. But like as already been said the quality now is only a fraction of what it was then.
stratton
Wouldn't it be great if Robert was involved in the WTC,i hope so it would be great experience for him i actually would have him in the starting line up.Also if he was involved who knows it could help the gate? local interest.I can remember when I first see Michael Lee ride in the big individual meeting the SILVER PLUME aged 16/17? he scored ten points he did generate alot of interest and put extra on the gate.
Trees
Yeah it would be great, shame that it's BSI's baby! I just hate the fact that we have this private company running the show, stops me attending this and Cardiff now :-( Edited June 28, 2014 by Trees

g13webb
Congratulation to Niels on winning the Danish SGP at the weekend. Also to Troy Batchelor, a real surprise to everyone. I know Troy don't run for us anymore but both riders performances and connections help in keeping Kings Lynn name to the fore in world of speedway............. Must say, It can't get any better for a top rider to win his country's own GP. Well Done Niels... A truly epic performance.........

I have a guess it was a lot better than the riders Robert beat but it's still a good achievement as you can only beat what you're riding against. Michael Lee's First paid maximum for Kings Lynn was in a 52-26 home win against Hackney on Sat July 26 1975. Lee's age at that time was 16yrs 207 days. Bettsy also went through the card that night in what proved a relatively easy win. Lee followed that with his first Full maximum for Boston Cudas the following night against Mildenhall . His third a final maximum in that first year was his best, when riding against top team Reading in a close encounter on the Oct 11 1975, beating top names Dave Jessup and John Davies in his last ride to secure his first full score......
