erniew
Could be one for the record books this one, lot of Geordies cheering on the Bears! Hope it's a good meeting and the weather doesn't spoil it.

Travertine
Does anyone know the breakdown of what happens at certain scores ............ The Diamonds want a big win from the Bears, to prevent Somerset getting the extra point they need, and to diminish the Rebels race points to the level that its worse than that of Newcastle - hence some Diamonds Fans heading for the STMP. However, this would also bring the bears onto the same match point total as the other two, and if they do score enough themselves, it would be Redcar that qualify! However, I don't have the wherewithall to work out the permutations, are there any of the stats nerds on here who might be a bit more adept at number-crunching? Somerset can lose by 19 and qualify.Redcar need to win by 36 to qualify above the other two.

The same as a team finishing 4th in the Elite League this season went on to win that... The play off's are not meaningless, it brings in good revenue for those clubs involved. So the onus is on all the clubs to sign riders with the potential to make the play off's or win the league.. Simple really. Again , best of luck to Garry Bish and the boys tonight. It a fraise i like to use, but is true, Rebels must not get complacent, and need to finish the job off, professionally. Fromafar
And no meeting at the Oaktree either You couldn't make it up just a shambles at this time of the year the clubs can't even get good publicity of the final due too the short notice regarding other fixtures. Sad that only the unfortunate Thursday weather in the north-east has wrecked quite-sensible plans to have these groups finished three weks ago, and the finalists could have set up well-publicised home-and-away-legs in good time. Thankfully, forecast for tonight is dry (but probably chilly). Go on, you Rebels!
