Vicar
I'm not so in touch with all news from EL but suddenly I realised today that there was no EL KOC this year! Does anyone know why? Year by year there are less trophies to get - no KOC, no Craven Shield...

Run properly with cut-off dates for each round and it would be well supported.

MrB
Yep really bad move IMHO but apparently clubs complained that it lost them money! Personally I'd much rather go to a KOC meeting where every race means something as opposed to a league meeting where really they don't. SCB
...and is likely to be re-introduced in 2014 if certain promoters get their way!! Good. Maybe I'm odd but I always enjoyed the KOC. Remember a few good meetings against Poole and a few close (including hoe and away draws!) against them too.
cityrebel
once the powers that be decided that eastbourne and king's lynn could pull out of the competition, the KOC was in trouble. add this to the 'mickey mouse' rules of last season and you get a recipe for disaster.

bigcatdiary
Mickey Mouse rule? Do you mean Man on Man? No he means the crap rules that the vice chair thought up last year. This was a good competition and like others with a straight formula and no tactical,s would be a good opener for the league next year.
