Wolfsbane
Interesting comments from Pearson tonight about Berntzon saying that `he has had inquiries from EL clubs`. Would love to know if we asked (will save that for the talk in!). Think we can wave bye bye to Berntzon. The cheque books will be out in force, unfortunately the one belonging to CVS will not be involved unless PK & Freddie can work the oracle

That`s my wish and i`m sticking to it
T.N.T.
Wonder if Eduard Krcmar "has had inquiries from Elite clubs"(perhaps mentioned on another page, that ive missed)Looks very good prospect. He was lined up for the Olympique when he was 16 but got injured prior to it however he has certainly progressed in tougher opposition this season and along with Bernzton and Milik it shows that there are still good youngaters coming through and given the chance. Would be great if Max Rumi gets a PL berth next season which would give them four young Americans based over here

That`s my wish and i`m sticking to it Think CVS and Adams thought Proctor or Wells would fill one of the heat leader roles in the future, but sadly cant see this now happening. In fact it wouldnt be much of a suprise to see Ty making a early exit back to Aus,think his aspirations were higher than the Premier league. Wells.always steady at Monmore, but if the team want to win titles, his away form says, sorry he aint youre man.

Think those thoughts of Wells and Proctor becoming heat leaders (in an even weaker EL) must have been put to bed and i applaud our promotion for making changes as they have. If they are serious about winning again in the near future then its time to splash the cash again.

And he's actually increased his average this season despite spending some time as a heatleader.

But I wouldn't be massively upset if Coventry signed him next season, possibly, maybe :/

If they are serious about winning again in the near future then its time to splash the cash again. Think the team was built hoping to have two good scorers and the others in the top half holding their own as they all get two rides against reserves, so it was reasonable to think Ty, Ricky and Jacob could get scores along the line of 6-8 points each, with 4 or 5 coming from the easier rides. At home that has been ok, but away they have only managed that once (21+1 at Coventry) but thats the night Tai and Piotr only managed 9 between them and when Ty, Ricky and Jacob are only getting 10-16 points between them, it puts too much pressure on the top two and reserves. Bringing in PK will give more strength at the top and if they can get 30 between them away, then the second strings scoring 8+ should be enough to pick up points and possibly victories and big points ...... but is it too late ? Lasse Bjerre may only be 20 years of age but he has been around for a bit doubling up for Kings Lynn, Swindon, Peterborough and Leicester and under this format has so far scored 29 points from 6 meetings as a second string and if he can get 4-5 then I'm confident Jacob can at least match that leaving the reserves to get 6-10 points between them.
T.N.T.
Well the changes never worked last night but lets see what happens here on in. Heard last night that Ricky is really gutted about losing his place and fully understand that as he has done little wrong and while some may think his 6+ average is too high, Ricky has progressed well over the last few seasons and has that average because he is that good. Really hope someone fits him in soon as riding for just Workington may not be enough for him and he can do a great job for someone in the Elite League

What was the guest options for Proctor, would that have been more practical instead of welcoming the messiah back who will not do the job for you....? T.N.T.
What was the guest options for Proctor, would that have been more practical instead ....? His average at the moment is 5.37 so the guests that could have been used are Michael Palm Toft, Kyle Howarth, Nicolai Klindt and Dakota North from the EL. ...... However with his average to go under 5 soon, Toft and Howarth would be too high so little options as guest

Don`t think anyone saw that coming. What job does he have to do?? It isn't like he was ever going to help us make the play offs.
Fourentee
Really hope someone fits him in soon as riding for just Workington may not be enough for him As a long-time fan, riding for Workington should be the summit of anyone's ambitions! But, seriously, I know what you mean. Wells (and he's only 23 and still developing) is unfortunate; not the first rider to lose his job as collateral in numbers game team changes and certainly not the last. It didn't look like there was many there .

What he is unfortunate with is he's the first, in my memory, who was doing his job that CVS has binned. That was a decent crowd. My immediate reaction to the early crowd shots was 'That looks decent for a Sky match and considering we're $hit'
