T.N.T.
Tai does not deserve any of the comments questioning his desire to ride here. He has a busy schedule and on the back of the British GP where he had so many media hype chasing him for interviews and appearances on top of his charity ride, he has now hit a wall and needs the break. He didn't want to let his teams down and all were told of the situation as soon as possible. He had blood tests taken to make sure it wasn't a medical problem and these results have come back saying how he could help regain full fitness and the main part is a complete rest which he will do in this country and not some beach far away. On winning the World title, he had offers from so many tracks and leagues and the chance to ride in Sweden alongside Emil was one he couldn't turn down and there was never any question on him missing Britain as he has some good sponsors here and friends and this has possibly made him review what he does next season. He didn't know if he would ever be World Champion again so needed to take the bookings to not only earn as much as possible but also to promote the sport which he has done more than any other rider I can think of and if he needs a few days off we should all be fully behind him and congratulate him on the work he has done so far and the £57,000 he has so far raised for GOSH. Well Done Tai and keep up the good work.
SteveLyric2
I don't know why Tai doesn't issue a statement of some sort to clarify his position. He's quite a prolific tweeter I understand?! If there is the remotest chance of him quitting Wolves this season then he should say so, in order that his Team manager can look at options and can also withdraw gracefully from his GP pit team!!!! Star Lady
I don't know why Tai doesn't issue a statement of some sort to clarify his position. He's quite a prolific tweeter I understand?! Probably because he is exhausted and needs a break. That means not being at the beck and call of fans who seem to want him to do all sorts of things which in the past he has willingly done. BWitcher
He's already stated, resting until the World Cup. Wolverhampton will be fully aware of his situation, if they choose to make changes that is up to them.
Jacques
My OH said to me months ago that he thought he'd be spreading himself to thin and it appears it's happened. It's not a criticism, quite the opposite! It does seem he's been trying to please everyone and his health has suffered. It happens, he's only human, in case some hadn't noticed ... He may have decisions to make I don't know, or are people just putting two and two together on here and coming up with five as usual? As per, you have people on the side lines ready and willing to come and stick the knife in at any given opportunity

Tommy Sweetman
Think this debate has gone on long enough now.Tai has apologised(but it seems an apology isnt enough). Tbh,i think the earlier problems with Tai might have had something to do this.He has repeatedy said it wasnt mechanical, and even went as far to indicate"mind your own buiness" in one interview. Its obvious now, hes not going to let on what(or who)the problem was,so ive come to the conclusion,we might has well put all this to bed,and move on. Ps ------------It would have been interesting to see what Shovlar,s views would have been on this.Probably along the lines, this could never have happened at Poole.

A few years back Holder claimed he was suffering from exhaustion, that scenario was way different!

Panthers89
Eddy Kennett on his current average WOULD be a million times better than Proctor or Wells on current form, FACT! Edited July 17, 2014 by Panthers89

Panthers89
NOT FACT. No better. Would easily score more than the 5 points they have been scoring recently.
stevebrum
Would easily score more than the 5 points they have been scoring recently. Kennett has done nothing easily in the EL this year so no way easily outscore. Proctor as 3rd heat leader like Kennett has already done better. Wells scored 9 Monday. Kennett would struggle to score half that.
Bruiser McHuge
I think Tai's schedule is incredibly tiring and must wear anybody down..and he is pretty new to all this and it must be hard...in an ideal world he would just get on with it but we don't live in ideal worlds and unless you are inside Tai's body and mind it's impossible to know how he truly feels What I know is that if you are that drained then the last thing you need to be doing is hurtling into a first bend alongside 3 others....an accident waiting to happen that would be The timing isn't ideal and fans feel let down but I think the long term picture needs to be seen above just the present day.....but I agree that I would doubt he will do 3 leagues next season and we know which will be the odd one out
