SteveLyric2
Well done to Tai and it must be great to be a Wolves fan today. Enjoy!
INCOGNITO
Amazing achievement by Tai Woffinden to win the World Title in 2013 when the Grand Prix had the strongest line up ever and to make the top 8 would have been the target back in March. Fully deserved for the way Tai has worked on and off the track and to overcome the injuries and ride through the pain barrier. With the GP's, Wroclaw and now Sweden in 2014, Tai will no doubt be lining up with Wolverhampton too but it is going to cost them to keep the new Monster rider next season. With Freddie looking to make changes next season, it may be pay Tai or lose out.
Gresham78
Many congratulations to SGP 2013 World Champion Tai Woffinden! Unfancied at the start, broke his collarbone twice and still comes out on top, an outstanding achievement. Hopefully this will give British speedway a boost when it most needs it.
T.N.T.
Back after a great weekend to see Tai clinch the unexpected World Title but he has richly deserved it this year in every way and that heat five was unbelievable to not only beat the three Poles but to see Meidzinski get past Hampel was the icing on the cake. As for 2014, only time will tell now as Tai will be looking at making the most of being the man in demand and looks to have already sorted his Wroclaw and Vetlanda contracts along with a couple of big sponsors that will pay the going rate for the World #1 and hopefully he will sort out a deal with Wolves for next year also. Freddie saw his big change to a new tuner backfire in Torun, but then on Sunday won an open meeting in Ostrow against a pretty strong field including Hancock, Pedersen, Jonsson and Woffy. He hasn't had a great 2013 but looks to be changing a few things for next season and riding in Britain could be the one that misses out and it looks impossible that any team will have two big hitters next season ....... Will it be Tai or Freddie next season ..... if any at all ? Frankly it may cost more money, but I firmly think that Tai has to be included next season, not only for the team but also for British Speedway and the profile of the sport. We can't afford to miss out on having the first British World Champion not appearing in Britain and hope it's Wolverhampton that gives him the place he richly deserves. With Ty Proctor and Jacob Thorssell all but nailed on, it would be a big suprise if Ricky Wells isn't included even after a season that failed to see him build on the success of 2012 but he still has potential and is a decent second string who would be ideal for the #2 race jacket. Meanwhile on a 3.15 average, Pontus Aspgren has to be looked on as a bargain at reserve who can challenge for a spot in the main body. What that leaves remains to be seen but at least we have the foundations to build on and although that is regular faces back again, the club has too many good assets not to use and maybe the last two places will go to new faces to inject some new blood into the team. Woz01
Although i agree with lowering costs in the EL next year the BSPA must do everything possible to ensure Tai is involved next season. Well done Tai!

BluPanther
That does appear the assumption but not certain. Heard a rumour he may be at Boro next year if he isn't in the GP's. Trouble is there are many rumours floating about, although I would welcome Freddie it it is true. Cant see Bjerre staying next year with our Friday race nights, unless Frosty changes it to accommodate his favourite son...

Tommy Sweetman
Lindgren won't be at Wolves next year Love Freddie to stay, but if we are all honest,he does need a change.Ten years are a long time to be at one particular track, hes had his testimonial,so new surroundings might now be a benifit to him.Been saying for a while a bigger track might help his GP performances, but fear it may well be to late for that now.Unless he gets Sweden,s wild card, next year he will miss out and have to concentrate on the domestic season. If hes got a choice, think he would like to replace NKI at Lynn. Never understood this thinking. Freddie rides in Sweden and Poland which has enough big tracks. If anything the variety of tracks in Britain might actually be a help.

I would be very surprised if Bjerre wasn't included at the Showground next season. As for rumours, that's all they are aren't they? Some putting 2 and 2 together and suddenly it becomes true! In normal circumstances i couldn't see Freddie going anywhere. However the hints from some promotions that changes are afoot for the EL and a possible watering down makes it looking like it might be only one top rider per club. So it is no surprise that there are rumours with so much uncertainty about how the EL will run next season. Never understood this thinking. Freddie rides in Sweden and Poland which has enough big tracks. If anything the variety of tracks in Britain might actually be a help. Been saying the same thing for years! Freddie has been top or near the top of the EL averages for several years which proves he can ride ALL tracks in the UK. There is nothing in the UK that can prepare any rider for what challenges that the GP, Poland Sweden bring. Freddie needs to up his game in those 3 if he wants to push his career onwards. Joining a new club in the UK wont help him achieve anything new.
INCOGNITO
Think you will find Freddie may have to make way at Wolverhampton if they are going to pay the going rate for the World Champion but he is very likely to be the Swedish nomination for the 2014 series and will be on new machinery and may well give England a miss or most likely be at Lakeside near to Stansted airport
Fourentee
Tai has now tweeted about completing a deal with Sparta, adding: "And I will be racing here next year just got to sign contract in the next few weeks!" which I take to refer to the UK.
T.N.T.
Tai has now tweeted about completing a deal with Sparta, adding: "And I will be racing here next year just got to sign contract in the next few weeks!" which I take to refer to the UK. If you look at the tweet it ends with #poland which would more refer to him riding in Poland where he now has his biggest sponsors by far. Tai now has deals sorted to ride in Wroclaw, Poland on a Sunday, Vetlanda, Sweden on a Tuesday and all the Grand Prix's (12) and European Championship meetings (6) on Saturday's which makes you wonder if he can fit in British Speedway or British Speedway can afford Tai ? and also will the BSPA give a guest facility to cover for him should an SEC meeting collide with a meeting as they don't recognise the competition May be interesting to see if Wolves and Poole (or any other track) would be allowed to share the #1 race jacket which has been looked at before. Wolves can then use Woffinden or Lindgren while Poole use Ward or Holder. Swindon can use Andersen or Kildemand etc

I did and it does, but he refers to the Sparta deal being completed before the "And I will be racing here next year just got to sign contract in the next few weeks" comment. But it could be the same issue and merely indicate that agreement in principle on a Polish deal has been reached and contracts will be signed relatively soon. In fact, the more I look at it, the more I think your interpretation is correct. We'll see.
