Catalan
North will be good for team spirit! Gulp
spikethebike
Totally the right move by Rosco. Klindt clearly given enough meetings to show whether he was heading the right way and after Friday it needed a change before the rot set in. Hopefully this gees up the other riders especially Simon.
Gavan
Unfortunately while at Peterborough it was reported North was disliked by many people, no idea why but it would appear he has a attitude and I dont think it was only at peterborough that he has had problems but if anyone can get the best out of him rosco can.unfortunatly Dakota is a reknowned non team player. In his shirt career here how many clubs has he been at? And how long has he stayed at them? Was with us at Ipswich for a season and basically had no buddies in the team. Has a huge ego for his limited ability. Thinks he is a top elite rider when basically he proved he can't even really cut it as a heat leader in the premier. Saw another disgusting side to him when he deliberatly fenced Barker and gloated about it. Yes we know Barker isn't liked but what he did had no place in the sport. Swindon are a great club that I like and I hope he does well for them. Just can't really abide him as a person
mdmc82
will be interesting to see what the team spirit is like with Batch and North in together as both bit hot headed
bigcatdiary
but if anyone can get the best out of him rosco can. Rather thought the same thing was said about him and Klindt
SCB
Whilst North isn't necessarily much better than Klindt, 2 home defeats out of 3 mean Rosco had to be seen to do something. It should also send a message to others. Ideally we would have held out until Klindt's new higher average to give a little more scope (the new format means it would go up despite him riding poorly). But i think this move is meant to be a tool to wake Gustafsson up in particular. Klindts average actually drops next week. In fact Swindons team as a whole sees there averages drop next week and I'm sure I worked out they had the best part of a point to play with. So they now have about half a point to replace Gustafsson if he doesnt pull his finger out. As for North, the guy changes clubs every winter, nobody wanted him at the tart of this season. Why? Desperate act signing him IMO.

BluPanther
I would just remind everyone that Dakota was awarded the 'Team man of the Year' at Boro last year. People on here saying he is not a team man would be wise to back up their claims, as he was obviously well regarded by those that truly knew him. He is also great mates with Troy, which is no bad thing. A good signing IMO..

There's not going to be much improvement average wise from Killer, Batch & Nick over the season so every bit of the points limit needs to be used. A ORLOV
Both Steve Worrall and Dan Greenwood have been putting in good results for their PL and NL teams recently. Tonight they race against each other Cov v Cradley, I know that they are at different levels but wish them a good safe meeting. YerRopes
Sad to see that things haven't worked out for Nicolai at Swindon this season, he was the highlight for me in our recent 'wooden spoon' season.. So adieu and best wishes to him and welcome and good luck Dak...
Red Robin
Too many interfering comments on here about Dakota from other teams. Rosco is no fool and is perfectly capable of choosing whatever rider he thinks would improve our "Rockin Robins" team. There is a great team spirit in the Swindon pits and his friendship with both Batch and Morris can only add to that, not to mention Rosco himself.
LagutaRacingFan
The reason people hate Dakota is quite simple A: He's a speedway rider living the dream B: Not only is he a speedway rider, He's also good looking. C: All the girls fancy him This has created jealousy from others, Dak is a fine signing for Swindon. He is a bubbly character to have in the pits and He's always free to have a chat after the meeting. Steve0
Ok - this must be the worst signing in history! Nothing wrong with Dakota but the Peterborough/Poole troll has now moved on to Swindon - god help us all!
stevebrum
PL is a lot harder than people think So is the EL. That's a very impressive statistic considering there are only 13 Premier League teams The troll still trolls on i see. I think he has had a check and was advised to see a vet! That`s awful to compare the multi banned one to an animal. Animals are intelligent.

We'll find out soon enough for ourselves, without condemning him before a wheel is turned.
