Gavan
Watched Nicolai Klindt at Foxhall on Saturday night and he was sharp and fast. Led tapes to flag in a couple of races and unlike last season was mixing it when behind as well. Could be a steal on his average
Crazy robin
Nicolai will have a few tape exclusions as he does like to jump the starts ala Craig Cook style but if he does anything near the job he did in his other stint as a Robin we'll be well happy.
EnglishRoundabout
I think we all know speedway has much to do with confidence. Klindt was criticised last season for shutting off/not mixing it. This was more than likely due to a lapse in confidence levels. When I think back to him previously as a Robin, he was terrific coming from the back. I recall him coming from last to first in one meeting at Blunsdon (Coventry I think). Pleased to hear he looks sharp as he will be vital to Swindon's chances of a play off position.
A ORLOV
Looking forward to thurs to see how Nicolai and Simon perform. Nicolai was going well the other day and Simon showed what he can do when last at the Abbey. Also this will be the first chance to see how the reserve format goes and how Darryl and Steve manage the new format.

van wolfswinkel
with Emperor Rosco as manager this team has a great chance of having a successful season. Play-off place at least if riders are paid on time.

A ORLOV
I feel that both Nick, racing against heat leaders and Darryl may suffer at the start of the season but Nick especially should improve and I hope Darryl can, A lot will depend upon the return to form shown at Swindon of both Nicolai and Simon. If they ride as they have done in the past at Swindon we could do well. If they do perform like they have done they will be chasing Nick for the 3rd heat leader position as they both have easier rides. Will have to wait till the end of April for the performance of each rider and each club with this new format, to get an indication of how the team will do. frigbo
Edge of play offs. Anywhere from 4th to 6th.
Crazy robin
Lots of questions with each rider as will both Batch & Killer kick on a little bit with the added pressure, will Simon & Nicolai prove that their talent can be improved & most importantly nobody knows what will happen at reserve as Steve & Darryl look like one of the weaker pairings in the league especially Darryl. Its got to also be the youngest ever Swindon team so lots of ups & downs during the season to be expected as a consequence maybe. Between 4th to 7th for me & will need a lot to go for us to make the play offs. That said I agreed with the top 3 we've kept rather than Hans so good luck to the boys & Rosco. Adder
Cracking April Fools Day joke from Clarke Osborne: http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/11115835.Stadium_work_won___t_halt_speedway_races/?ref=var_0
BuzzCagney
Don't see any joke there. Its as its been said from the get-go. No knocking down of the old stadium until the new one is in place. If that doesn't happen the whole development will be halted. The Council put that in as a stipulation after representations from fans who had witnessed other stadiums being razed on the simple promise of a new one. That won't be happening here.
