SteveLyric2
Not really as boss of Team GB he should be at a bspa event not a testimonial or farewell, as much as he would want to be at Havvy's We'll have to see how far he honours his prior commitments then!!!! stratton
The problem is Sidney, while die-hards like you and I will go every week regardless, will the majority of fans be happy to turn up week-in, week-out and pay their £17 if a rider like Ritchings or even Worrall are struggling badly and the team are losing more often than not?Good point, the idea in principle is commendable but it just has not been thought out properly.I would rather the idea had been used in the PL for this year and go from there. There could of still been chances for the likes of Lambert ,Ellis,Kerr,Garrity,Howarth (ect) in the EL.But like you said Matt the promoters are taking a massive chance ie) in a way taking the fans for granted. For ex) if you go to a restaurant and get a set menu say for 50 quid with a bottle of Champayne. Are you going to be happy if you go back a month later pay the same money but minus the bottle of champers.? I think the prices should of been dropped to at least 15 pounds a gesture in a way are people going to pick and choose they're meetings more.? SteveLyric2
TBF, the ERC is nothing to do with Team GB/Rosco Quite true SCB, but Gavan does have a point, it will be the first opportunity for Sky to do a live interview with the new Team GB boss. That's why it will be an interesting decision as I understand there may be a plan for Rosco to do a bit more than just attend Havvy's meeting!!

BritPete
He says that he will be back at Swindon, and that's enough.
Crazy robin
Darryl Richins is named as the last Robin for 2014 which is no great surprise & good luck to the lad. Never will agree with this reserve rule but wish him well.

Never will agree with this reserve rule but wish him well. Well, Rosco didn't sound 100% convinced at the Pit Crew AGM/Quiz but I think it's great that he has given the lad a chance-let's hope he takes it with both hands! Funny there's no announcement on the website, only in the Adver!

EnglishRoundabout
Seem to recall the great Leigh Adams 'liking the look' of Ritchings. Think he may well surprise a few people. Needs to hold his own at Blunsdon, which I reckon he will do. Can't remember many local lads emerging from Purton in the past. All the very best Darryl.
YerRopes
Mike Keen was from nearby Minety (if memory serves..) Anyway, best of luck to young Darryl
EnglishRoundabout
Ashby (Marlborough) Keen (Minety) Broadbanks (Blunsdon) Holloway (Stratton) Kilby (Ferndale Road) Just from memory.....
remembertheracers
Good luck to Darryl. While Reading took several league titles over the years I dont think we ever had a local boy making the grade. It took a while but a good call from Rosco.
