Gloves
Could team points limit reductions be on the way? how will they equalise the averages if the structure between elite and premier league is altered. Guess its all hear say till the AGM. Will improving transparency in speedway rules and administration become more important, will cutting costs remain the key focus or will promoters understand that good entertainment run in a timely manner where the crowds attention is kept outside of the heats, could actually draw in new fans and grow the business. Personally would like to see the following Every elite team to include 2 Brits (Brits get no average reduction if there average goes down from the prior year but get a 5% reduction if they improve their average) also Brit riders can have an average under 3. Team points limits set for 6 riders. The 7th rider is a loyalty position allowing a club to keep a rider who has ridden for that club for the five previous seasons (being declared in the line up at the start of each season). End of double points rides, although excluding reserve rides you can change the rider in a race if you go 8 behind and again if you go 12 behind. No drawn meetings, you have three match races to decide the winner when scores are level.
DIAMONDS
I dont know that much so i dont know how realistic this is but how about: 1. Hans Andersen 8.34 2. Ryan Fisher 5.71 3. Mads Korneliussen 6.97 4. Nick Morris 5.90 5. Troy Batchelor 8.21 6. Ashley Birks 3.06 7. Kyle Howarth 4.28 Probably really unrealistic but there you go. Steve0
What is wrong with it in your opinion? Well, for a start, where are Kikdemand and Doyle? Secondly, with an expected lower points limit and lower points money, I don't think we would see Hansi back. We've had Fisher before - been there, done that, not going there again. Mads would most likely be at KL - although I wouldn't mind him back. Batch will be wanted at Peterborough ( ) and I don't think he is the one to lead our team - Killer is! Birks I would have back but don't know if he will be fit and Howarth I would have back but is off to Poole apparently. Can't really put a team together until we know the points limit and rule changes so I'll stick with Killer, Morris and Doyle as the spine of our team for now!

Think Panthers'll use their own assets next year, not bring in loanees - not even after March 1st. EnglishRoundabout
Somebody else in the 'know'?....your understanding or just what you think?..we dont even know if there will be a stand alone Elite League yet so clearly merely your feeling and not an understanding..or would you feel comfortable in declaring your source? What's with the avatar shockers? I dont know that much so i dont know how realistic this is but how about: 1. Hans Andersen 8.34 2. Ryan Fisher 5.71 3. Mads Korneliussen 6.97 4. Nick Morris 5.90 5. And for someone who 'doesn't know much' you are giving it a fair crack! What about the Mildenhall side?

Said the same last year but it didn't happen and isn't realistic anyway. Have you checked our assets page? He's still there http://www.peterboro....co/otherassets I did post he'll be gone by the start of 2014 season so there's still time, and an AGM, to go. Should the situation be allowed to stand and Swindon's usurping of Batchelor be allowed to go without repercussions the entire asset situation will be ripped apart with all clubs having recourse to the March 1st ammendment to pick up, on the cheap, any riders they have previously sorted deals with. I would hope the promoters with assets coveted by other clubs will see the danger to income here and even Swindon, with Morris (who they did pay for) and Kildemand likely tapping-up targets, could lose out as a result. We are, though, talking BSPA here so I suppose they could just say they were wrong to sanction the 'loan' in the first place, rescind the March 1st ammendment (if there is one, that is, since we've only heard about it, not had any proof of it's existence), and tell Panthers' management to lump it. It's not as if it hasn't happened before. Edited October 11, 2013 by Vincent Blackshadow

Crump99
Yay!! Good advert for any riders approaced by Swindon, don't do it, fickle fans will drop you like a shot, even if you win them the title. Not to worry though, your career will not stretch to 45 years

But hey, it gave you another chance of a cheap shot! It's the Peterborough equivalent of nobody wants to ride for you. That was rather tiresome as well as being cobblers. That's the trouble when you don't explain yourself, things can be misinterpreted. Why are you happy that he's still a Peterborough asset? Because you're pleased to be rid or it's confirmation of BSPA incompetence? Edited October 12, 2013 by Crump99

Because you're pleased to be rid or it's confirmation of BSPA incompetence? And that's the trouble when you make assumptions! I hadn't realised I had to explain myself but just for you ... I wouldn't have a problem having Batch back as he seems to have matured this last 2 years. However, with the expected reduction in points limits I'm not sure how he would fit in the team. Also, as has been well documented, we aren't rolling in money so best for Patch to keep his hand in his pocket - or maybe another year's loan - just like PUK was allowed to do
Crump99
Good to see you back on the Robins thread Crumpy, you bringing your mates with you? Hopefully it's only short term and you never do business with Peterborough ever again after you've paid for Batchelor and made good any outstanding payments. That's us sorted then

That's us sorted then I wonder if Rick Frost accepts Monopoly money? - with Swindon Speedway being on the Monopoly board now that's the only money he's getting
remembertheracers
While we wait for the 2014 points limit, and expect it to be low I think if Swindon have Kildemand, Doyle and Morris - and they should! - they will be the top three riders in terms fo starting averages. That in itself would be as much as even a better season, without Sky, could consider affording.
