foreverblue
Why the constant obsession with Gustaffsson??..in any case Rosco seems intent on using Birks so we could bring in a rider who will be 3rd in the averages initially leaving Nick as main second string... He has been riding over far longer than Morris and has barely improved except for a golden couple of months last season where he basically was a Smolinski in reverse crap for a while good in the end..would have Morris 10 times out of ten compared to journeyman Hougaard Journeyman seems a bit harsh he journeyed to swindon with the panthers and got 19 points!
Crazy robin
He will improve on his average maybe more than morris Not a chance will he improve that average & Nick attained his average in the main body of the team unlike Hougaard who's was down to his purple patch at reserve. I bet you'd be saying different if Nick had been a Poole rider. Journeyman seems a bit harsh he journeyed to swindon with the panthers and got 19 points! He scored a lot of points the first time he rode for Belle Vue at Swindon as a reserve but has done nothing when in the main team.

Hougaard also superb.

T.N.T.
Will Ashley Birks be fit for the start of the season ? .......... Is he carrying on in the sport ? Spoke to Johnno out in Torun and he explained the injuries Ashley had and the fears of how well he would recover and it seemed like Ashley had some serious thinking to do about his future. He came within millimeters of being paralysed in the crash and Johnno personally felt it was a warning he had to take and finish riding as another crash could be serious. Hopefully since then things have looked up and he is recovering well, but after a smash like that, you have to think of the mental damage done also and would any rider be able to come back from it. I hope he does as he was showing great potential and on an average just above three he would be a bargain if fully fit. If Swindon are looking more towards a 3 point rider and a 6+ rider for the last two places, I would have thought they would have already gone with Simon Stead, Grzegorz Zengota or Eddie Kennett. As they haven't it would be that they may be looking at two lower order riders like Ricky Wells/4.00 new rider or two from Magnus Zetterstrom 4.98, Ludvig Lindgren 4.48, Josh Auty 4.90, Timo Lahti 4.80, Kim Nilsson 5.18, Dakota North 4.23 etc. Personally I would favour getting a new 5.00 rider like Vaclav Milik and Ludvig Lindgren or Peter Ljung 5.60 and a 4.00 new rider. Popular Post SteveLyric2
Best wishes to Rosco, who was involved in a traffic accident last evening - hit by a car and 'bounced' several feet along the road - whilst out celebrating losing Kennett to Birmingham!! But seriously, sounds as though he got away with just bruises, no breaks. So get well soon Alun and hopefully no lasting damage! (ps. early reports on the state of the vehicle are unconfirmed!!)
A ORLOV
Rosco tweeted that he was at the Stadium this morning, so he was thankfully not injured too badly. Hope they find the dick head driver.
SteveLyric2
Yes, Rosco reported a little stiff this morning, but Julie said 'No - 4 kids is enough'!!

A ORLOV
Why? Was he driving on the pavement? No, a car stopped to let him cross the road and one drove up the inside of it. Edited December 16, 2013 by A ORLOV
Red Robin
No, a car stopped to let him cross the road and one drove up the inside of it. Hope the person driving up the inside gets fined heavy, right Moron

Chalkie
Anyone for Kim Nilsson and Peter Ljung for the last two? Lakeside website says they are being offered out on loan and both highly likely to be in the Elite (British) League next year.

Have to be iron out of them 2 as Nilsson is more up & down than a roller coaster. Hoping for something more to be honest with the last 2 signings than either of them. spikethebike
Would prefer Zengota over Peter Ljung if these are the two being considered for the next team place. Greg coming back after a bad injury last March and so will have regained confidence, and now with a lot more EL experience than this time a year ago. Hope we fill the spaces sooner rather than later. 65Sarge
I have no real idea who to suggest, that is up to management, but I would not be unhappy to see Zengota back, he was always reliable and as Spike said, should be getting his confidence back, I think he would most likely do a good job?
