SCB
Good win for Batch ...He's grown up so much in the last two years. I must admit I had little time for the bloke but he's really turn himself into a decent rider and a better person these days .Was saying the other day how I'd like to see him make the GP top 8 which suggests I'm warming to him. Maybe he will become the peoples champion after all?!

EnglishRoundabout
Ok I'm going to be a little controversial here and say why I don't think Swindon will be EL champs this year. They have without doubt a talented bunch of racers who have certainly entertained this year. My concern is firstly the inconsistently of the team throughout most of the season, although I'm pleased to see they all seem to be hitting form together at the right time. Mentally though, I'm not so sure we are strong enough. Batch as the leader and captain of the side is liable to spit the dummy if things don't go to plan. He is nowhere near the calming influence and inspirational captain that the great Leigh Adams was. Peter Kildemand concerns me too. He too often relinquishes a comfortable lead for no apparent reason. Nick Morris , accepted he is still young, but too often makes mistakes at the vital time. Steve Worrall however, has been a model of consistency all season and without doubt the rider of the season Hopefully I will be proved wrong, and the Robins will bring home the trophy for the second time in three years. van wolfswinkel
Well done Batch...hopefully will lead the Roobins to title now. His form in the last couple of months has been superb, along with the other 2 Aussie lads.

Weirdly no mention of your, IMO, weakest link. Simon Gustafsson (I know Nathan Greaves but hes not expected to score). I just dont see him as the man I'd want out there for my team in a tight battle. Annoyingly, Poole have a team of riders who I'd back when the pressure is on. Edited September 26, 2014 by SCB
stratton
I think it is Swindon's to lose, not that they are a great side far from it i have never believed that. But Poole for me are well beatable damage limatation at Wimbourne Rd win comfortably at the Abbey another title me hopes!

Annoyingly, Poole have a team of riders who I'd back when the pressure is on. Gustafsson has been as inconsistent as the others. My intention was to point out the mental strength frailties of the side. In one season, I'm not sure I can judge Simon in this area.

Not a great side but the best team on current form. Poole aren't the same without the 2 aussies. Leigh was a superb team-rider and skip, but losing finalist twice, and it was Hansi who led the team to the title 2 years ago. Morra and Dakota are the 2 big aces in the pack...superb form. Killer will be fine for the play-offs, and showed he has the mental strength at Poole in the 2012 Grand Final.
A ORLOV
Nick is a slight concern, even tonight at Scunny two last places, two great rides and two exclusions. Anzum
Seems like Nathan and Sarjeant have gone up a few levels compared to Dak and Hansen's spat. I wonder what the repercussions will be.

I wonder what the repercussions will be. Nathan is an animal. Shocked tonight at Brandon and I have been going for years. He caused huge fight with Sarj and even jumped the fence and started on his own and bees fans. Huge punch up resulting in a mechanic still down and needing to be taken to hospital (hearing may be Sarjeants dad) Even the Heathen fans are booing Nathan

How did they take it? Updates say Sarjeant started it. So if he got a shoeing from a 6 stone 16 year old then he should be ashamed!
