Grachan
So it's Klindt out and North in. Interesting move. What is North's average? Is it low enough to get Gustafsson sweating too? I'm not normally one for changes, but it was clear something was lacking in the second string department.

I'm not normally one for changes, but it was clear something was lacking in the second string department. Something had to be done as 2 home defeats is not good enough & I imagine Simon will definately be looking over his shoulder now. That said do feel sorry for Nicolai but as Poole prove you can't just wait around. Have just read what Rosco has put in the Adver & it's completely right as it sends out a message & guess it was a choice out of Nicolai or Simon & the rider he could get in. Always liked Dak so welcome to the Robins.
foreverblue
Not sure Dakota North is the answer and I would have thought looking at recent scores Gustafsson would have been out the door first. Many said that Klindt was a risk given his up and down career and unfortunately been proved correct.

Rosco's a big fan of Dakota so was always going to be down to availability & fitting in average wise.

A ORLOV
Dakota has been scoring well abroad and getting better results than Nicolai. It is unfortunate for Nicolai but something needed to be done, and I hope he can get his confidence back elsewhere. I hope the change works. MattK
Trouble is Crazy, its not going to make much difference. Exactly. We've got average heatleaders, average second strings and average reserves. So far the team's performances have been pretty average. Swapping out one rider isn't going to make any significant difference.

Lets face it both he and Simon were big risks or on false averages. Neither seem to be delivering on the promise. Feel sorry for Nicolai tho. His promising career that has stalled somewhat now for several seasons looks to be as good as over. Another sacking to add to the 3(?) last season. Swapping out one rider isn't going to make any significant difference. north isn't any better than klindt , he's worse on small tracks ,I think swindons problems will get worse when the g.ps are in full swing with batch
2ndbendbeerhut
Helps that North and Batch are good mates too. Klindt off to possibly Scunthorpe or Redcar?
Agrotron
First off all I would like to wish Daryl a speedy recovery, and second I think DAK for Klindt is not going to do much better imo.

I'm not normally one for changes, but it was clear something was lacking in the second string department. North's on 4.23 I think. Rosco gets on a lot better with most of the Aussies so I reckon a small improvement for the Robins is on the cards!!
frigbo
Whilst North isn't necessarily much better than Klindt, 2 home defeats out of 3 mean Rosco had to be seen to do something. It should also send a message to others. Ideally we would have held out until Klindt's new higher average to give a little more scope (the new format means it would go up despite him riding poorly). But i think this move is meant to be a tool to wake Gustafsson up in particular.
springdale
Rosco had to do something, I totally agree with that. I wonder what would have been said if Matt Ford had done so that quickly into the season
noggin
The one difference we will see is Dak has more fire in his belly. Nic as much as I like the guy, has lost the edge he had a few seasons back, takes the easy option and won't take risks even safe ones anymore, needs a season or two in PL to rebuild his confidence.
Weeyin
PL is a lot harder than people think
